The Hilton Boston Logan Airport offers exceptional convenience for travelers with early flights, boasting direct access to the airport terminals via skybridge and a convenient shuttle service. While generally positive, recent reviews have raised concerns about security incidents, inconsistent service, and some dated aspects of the property.
This hotel would be great had I not had a very scary experience. I woke up at 1:20am with the man in the next room trying to get into my room through the adjoining door. He may have just been drunk (though didn't seem like it), but he woke me up trying to get the door open. I yelled at him through the door and he apologized, but I called down to the front desk and they said they'd send security up. Well, no one ever came, and I didn't hear anyone call his room to make sure everything was OK. Also, the bottom lock of my adjoining door was also unlocked - the only thing holding it shut was the latch. So, I'm not sure if it was left that way or somehow he was able to get the bolt unlocked through the door. Very strange as it's something I always check. Needless to say, I could barely sleep the rest of the night and moved some things in front of the adjoining door as a weak precaution. I considered moving rooms but at this point I had like 2 hours til I had to wake up for my early flight. The next morning, I called the front desk again - manager's mailbox full, so someone left him a message. I finally call Hilton corporate and they take down the notes and give me 10k points - not something I'm looking for and of very little value anyway. I then get a call back from the manager within 5 minutes of the corporate call, who then told me the more concerning things. First off, he tells me there was no record of an issue the night before, and no message about the issue to him (he only heard through the corporate escalation line). He said any security issue should have been recorded but none was. So, what in the world is going on? A single female traveler (nor anyone) shouldn't have to worry about a security threat to their room, and then the fact none of this was properly recorded is a real issue. I told him my bottom lock was eerily unlocked and he said "that's why we also have the latch". What? Since then (this was a couple weeks ago) no surprise, but no further follow up from Hilton. As nice and convenient as this hotel is, I can't recommend anyone traveling to go there if they can't take a threat to your security seriously. I hate writing this review as I'm sure there's tons of great people there, and again it's a beautiful, convenient hotel. But to not have a real way of escalating and responding to a security threat is unacceptable. At the very least, do not accept an adjoining room.
I am not certain this is the nicest hotel and trying to walk here from concourse B was definitely a haul, but what made this a 10 star experience was a lovely cleaning lady who was so genuinely kind as I left my room with a late checkout it made me wonder about many things. I left a tip for you at the front desk - room 903 June 7th, hopefully it gets to you and you know you made my weekend much brighter. Thank you!
This hotel is all about location. I try to always stay here when I have a flight the next morning. You can turn the rental car in a day early (saves rental car fees and hotel parking). Then you can walk to your terminal. I walk to American Airlines in terminal B, which is 0.6 miles (15 minutes with luggage in tow). The food is decent, the rooms are okay (my TV wouldn't work this trip, but usually average rooms
I would like to recognize housekeeper Samsonia. We stayed for 5 nights. She was adorable! Her professionalism was incredible. She took care of us at such a high level of service. Kudos to Hilton for their level of service at this location. I've stayed here before and will stay here again.
You cannot beat this location! I had a 6:05am flight and this was perfect. I walked to Terminal A within 10 mins and was able to get into line before TSA even opened. The room was comfortable and even though I could see the planes there was no noise! The only suggestion would be to upgrade the TVs so they allow streaming and to update the bathrooms. I’d recommend and stay here again!
We choose to stay in Hilton Logan for couple of times, not only because it’s convenient to the terminal for our early morning departure (especially when traveling with young kids who have difficulties waking up), but more for the service and hospitality the staff provides. During our latest stay, we were assisted by Kevin, an energetic and experienced gentleman who not only arranged us a comfortable stay, but also shared his in-depth knowledge and insights on future travel planning. Through his eyes we saw his passion and dedication to providing top notch services, no matter how small they were. This is the hotel I will highly recommend without any reservations.
This stay was far more exhausting than it needed to be. Parking is unnecessarily confusing. The first-floor garage was full, but there was no clear signage directing drivers to overflow parking. I had to drive through rideshare pickup areas and then up one level, which was extremely disorienting unless you already know the layout. From that parking area, the walk to the lobby was long and indirect, passing through banquet spaces and then down a level. After a long travel day, this was draining. Overnight parking cost $46, which raises the question of whether valet would have been any worse. The whole setup feels deliberately friction-filled. The interior is worn and dated. Lobby carpets were visibly frayed. Some elevator call buttons did not function properly. At check-in, the front desk agent enthusiastically mentioned “free water in the room” as if it were a premium perk, yet there was no water in the room at all. The room itself was disappointing. The sheets had a rough, sandpaper-like texture. The hair dryer was cheap, and its air intake was visibly clogged with dust. Although the room was an end unit, it felt like an unnecessarily long walk to the elevator, which was especially unpleasant in the morning when I had to handle a Turo car return. At 7 a.m., housekeeping staff were having loud personal phone conversations in the hallway, which is inappropriate at that hour. Hallways were cluttered with carts, rollaway beds, and even wine glasses left on the floor, creating both noise and obstruction. This hotel was supposed to be the convenient choice, but it ended up feeling more complicated and stressful than staying at a basic airport-area hotel with a shuttle. I would not choose to stay here again if I had alternatives.
having an early morning flight this was an amazing experience, clean rooms pool was great dinner just right two people and a child was under $60 for dinner no drinks. the big bonus is that the hotel is part of the airport so we just walk into the airport this morning and head out. love this place
We had two great stays here bookending a trip out of country. Perfect location for early flights out of Logan. Very easy 10-15-minute INDOOR walk from/to Terminal E and Terminal A. Use the Hilton app to get a DIGITAL KEY and you can just go straight to room from Level 2 elevators (keep bearing to the right from the sky bridge) without going down to the lobby level. Zero wait to get in room. If you’re flying Delta, take advantage of the check-in kiosks that are at the exit/entrance of the sky bridge BEFORE you go down to departures level! They are open EARLIER than the ones down below with very few people using them… no lines or waiting usually. Seems like good value for location, especially if you book early with the 6-day cancelation rate. The 10th floor at the end of the hallway on Terminal A side was very quiet. Immaculately clean rooms, although the rooms are slightly dated. Very professional and friendly housekeeping staff!
Recent stay. The hotel is extremely convenient for the airport and otherwise meets expectations for a full-service Hilton. Public areas are well run, and staff interactions were polite and professional throughout my stay. During my visit, I experienced a concerning safety issue. While using an in-room electrical appliance, I felt a mild but unmistakable electrical shock. The sensation was brief but clearly abnormal and alarming, and I stopped using the appliance immediately. Upon inspection, the appliance’s power cord was visibly damaged, with insulation compromised and electrical conductors exposed at the base of the unit (photo attached). The sudden jolt caused me to move abruptly and aggravated a pre-existing back issue, resulting in discomfort that lasted for approximately a week. While this was not a serious injury, it was a real and avoidable impact. To the hotel’s credit, staff responded promptly at the time. The appliance was removed from the room, and the affected night was comped, which I appreciated. However, I was surprised that there was no follow-up from Hilton corporate afterward, given that this was a documented safety-related incident involving damaged electrical equipment. Overall, a decent property with professional on-site staff, but this experience raised concerns about equipment inspection practices and escalation beyond the front desk.
