I’ve been a loyal Hilton customer for years due to my son’s elite swim travel schedule, and this was by far the most frustrating hotel experience I’ve had. I accidentally booked a reservation with a 14-day cancellation policy instead of the flexible option I normally use. I fully understand the mistake was mine and simply requested a one-time courtesy exception based on my loyalty and history with Hilton. Instead of any empathy or flexibility, I was repeatedly sent in circles between Hilton Guest Assistance and hotel management, often receiving inaccurate information along the way. The most disappointing part was the way management handled the situation. After multiple calls (due to the incorrect information between guest services and the hotel) and hours spent trying to resolve the issue, I was ultimately told I could either pay the cancellation fee or cancel both reservations and be “blacklisted” from the property in the future. Hearing that response as a loyal guest was honestly shocking and felt completely inconsistent with the hospitality Hilton usually represents. The one bright spot was Adam from Guest Assistance, who was professional, patient, and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, his customer service was overshadowed by the hotel management’s unwillingness to show any grace. This experience wasn’t just about a cancellation fee — it was about customer service, communication, and how loyal guests are treated when honest mistakes happen. They don’t need to black list me as I will not return to this property.

Linda Carreiro went above and beyond to make our stay special. The rooms are clean, breakfast is fresh and hot. My son left a souvenir in our room but I called and they found it and shipped it to our home (I paid shipping). This was so kind and all the staff were very customer-service focused. We came for the Boston Marathon and this is a great location right next to the Green Line D and E Lechmere stop. It heads right into downtown and is not full yet (coming from Medford/Tufts or Union Square). The T gets full in downtown but we already had seats. Marathoners can take either line to Arlington station for bag drop and bus loading in about 15 minutes and is very simple with no transfers required. Spectators can take the D all the way through downtown and out to a few cheer spots along the second half of the marathon.

It was an extremely pleasant stay at the hotel. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Hotel has been kept in very good condition and room is clean and tidy. Location is good and convenient. Breakfast has a good selection of choices. Parking offered at the hotel is very conveniently located and easy to access. We would definitely come back and choose to stay at Hampton Inn Boston/Cambridge again!

This hotel is very clean. The rooms are spacious and the staff is very friendly and courteous. The hotel is located at a short distance from target, Dunkin, cvs, McDonald's and other restaurants. I did not like the idea of being right of a highway, and the underground parking is a bit tight. Outside of that its a great place to stay and not very expensive. And added bonus was that our hotel floor was very quiet.

I had a late check-in, and even at midnight, Derek was super sweet, welcoming, and efficient. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast did what it needed to do. The parking garage was a bit tight, but I’m a good driver, so I made it work. ?

Great rooms. Clean. Friendly. Breakfast was full and hot. Parking can get tight, plan accordingly! Definatley stay again due to close proximity to train and Science Museum.

The location of the Hotel is very good since once can travel with Subway to anywhere in Boston. The room was clean and cozy and the staff were friendly to help out even at 3AM. I would recommend to choose Hampton Inn for the stay over other near by options.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the breakfast ladies, and the breakfast was excellent. But the hotel has several issues, and I won't stay there again. This Hampton hotel only had one luggage cart for a seven story building. I had to make two trips to the claustrophobic parking garage to get everything to my room. There was one partial roll of bathroom tissue in the room and no extras, so I had to request more. The worst issue was that I had asked for a room on a high floor, away from the elevator so I could sleep well during my three-day stay. But I was given a room with a connecting door, and I could hear much of what the neighbors said. They also had a dog that barked occasionally. I couldn't face changing rooms after I had already unpacked, so I slept with a pillow over my head. Definitely not up to the usual Hilton/Hampton Inn standards. I am editing to add that the room did not have a microwave.

Older hotel showing its age a bit. Positive: room rates were ok and there was free underground parking. Not so great: Both chairs in the room had stains in them (see pics). One looks like a Semen stain...the second I don't even want to guess what it is/where it came from. water damage on the ceiling of the room was showing. Heating/cooling not optimal - could not keep the room cool at night. Had temp controls on the heater/ac unit under the window and also on the wall - no clear instructions on how to make sure the right one was used.

I booked this hotel on the app for Jun 2026 selecting the Hilton honors discount rate. Not one of the two below it that said nonrefundable. Imagine my surprise when my card was charged in full the next day. Apparently in small print at checkout it states nonrefundable. The manager refused to cancel and refund as it is an event weekend. Another surprise for me. 8 months away they can easily resell the room and probably for more money but will not budge. Must not think much of their hotel. Long term Hilton Honors member no more.
