The Hampton Inn Boston Woburn generally receives positive reviews, highlighting its cleanliness, convenient location near restaurants and the highway, and comfortable rooms. However, recent experiences have raised concerns about inconsistent service practices, particularly regarding check-out procedures and guest accommodations.
Updated. The hotel is very clean, nice amenities, and a good hot breakfast. Location is also very convenient to many restaurants and the highway. They do surprise you with a $150 incidental hold for a single night stay. This is written nowhere during booking or in hotel policies, I checked everywhere before I stayed— incidental holds are typically only $50 per night if any. Bad start.. but ultimately a decent nights stay.
Very beautiful hotel! The exercise room was huge and hade wipes to wipe down the equipment. Multiple areas to sit or eat in the lobby. The breakfast was always fantastic! The room was great but I suggest bringing ur own pillows. You also need to call for room service cleaning. The TV was a pretty good size, and the bathroom was nice.
Our recent experience at the Hampton Inn Boston Woburn was positive. The staff demonstrated professionalism and provided excellent service; specifically, Anthony was particularly helpful during the checkout process. The hotel's proximity to various dining options, including Chick-fil-A, 110 Grill, and Maki Maki Japanese restaurant, was convenient. The lobby was well-maintained, and a bar is available for guests. The guest room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Overall, our stay was without incident, and we plan to return to the Hampton Inn Woburn for future visits.
Our room was fine, not great. The tub filled while taking a shower. The bed was high off the floor which made it difficult for a shorter person to get in and out of, and I sunk into my bed making it difficult to move around in bed. Everything else was good. The location, while very convenient and close to the highway exit, was noisy all night because it was close to the highway exit. I heard trucks down-shifting quite often even though the window was closed.
Room was clean, we are giving Anthony a five star review for his help when we needed it, he knows what we went through on our vacation and he saved the day. Location is perfect for our trip. Breakfast was great
Another business trip! Clean, comfortable rooms. Everything worked, complementary water bottle on check, breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Yogurt and granola to waffles, eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, muffins, coffee tea, orange juice, apple juice, all the Staples of a good breakfast. 8
If I could give negative stars on bad faith conduct of the Manager named Maria who checked me out 12 hours ahead of schedule then I would. I had to book this room as an emergency for myself and my dog. I booked over the phone and the Hilton onsite booking agent booked me from Monday 5-6pm to Wednesday 11pm. If what happened today hadn't, I would have given this place a 5 star review. Rooms were great. Facilities amazing. It's a truly comfortable stay... Until they kick you out at random because they're sold out. I assumed I had until 11pm and was away taking care of important family matters when I got a call from the Manager named Maria around noon. Almost immediately the tone was hostile. "This is the Hampton Inn Woburn. Check out was at 11am." I was taken aback. I was mostly packed but I had 12 hours. Right? Maria continued, "We're fully booked and you left your things here. We need you to get them out." I explained that the booked and the Hilton app said I had until 11pm. "Yes but we're fully booked and that's an extra day that I can't give you." What was going on? I was barely past her artificial deadline 11am by less than an hour. This was so disrespectful and bad faith. "Is there a chance I can leave at maybe 3pm?" I asked. "WE'RE FULLY BOOKED. I CAN ONLY GIVE YOU ONE HOUR." So I raced from Quincy to Woburn. I sprinted into the hotel, quickly grabbed everything I could. Almost as if the building was on fire. I get down to the lobby. I found the Manager at the front desk. I said I was checking out from my room and wanted to speak to a manager. "Maria" said she was the manager. I asked if she was the woman who called me about being 12 hours ahead of schedule. She said she was. Maria never identified herself on the call. So she knew she was doing something wrong because she was. The conversation turned immediately defensive again. "The check out time is 11am." I explained that both the Hilton app and the onsite booking agent had check out as 11pm. I remember because it was so unusual. There was no budging or apology. "I'm sorry they told you that. But check out is 11am." I was done at that point. I'm regularly a defender of people who work with the public. I've been there. The public can be brutal. But this was bad faith. This seems to be a hotel that's constantly "fully booked." I hear a similar discussion when I was waiting to be checked in with another guest. Apparently, Hampton Inn Woburn and Maria just see you as another number that they will boot you out randomly when it suits their purposes. As a guest, bookings aren't my responsibility or fault. If you stay here, who knows when they'll decide your check out time is? "Your check out was midnight and we're fully booked..." It's 12:21am? "Anyway get out." DON'T STAY HERE. TELL YOUR FRIENDS NOT TO STAY HERE. That will fix their booking issues really fast.
We checked in for an overnight with my daughter, we planned a little trip with just her since it’s been a rough month. We love Hampton inns usually. The room is big and clean, but the sheet was way too small for the king bed. I spent the evening adjusting it and ended up on the matress protector in the morning, which is gross. Also the tub/shower combo should have some kind of gripper, after cleaning up after the pool my daughter slipped and fell hard in the tub, bruising her elbow. The pool also was really murky and filled with hair and other things so we didn’t stay but a few mins. I chose this hotel because of the picture of the pool. The staff was wonderful and bed is comfy, but the sheets do not fit and the tub is a hazard.
Reserved a special room with a tub to soak after traveling (back issues). The tub had no drain stopper so I could not use the bathtub. Despite their published policy, even though they could not give me another room, they would not make it right and not change me for the room
The hotel itself was great—everything looked new, the rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was big and very clean. Also we enjoy the indoor Pool. However, I had a negative experience with the lady serving breakfast. She rushed to close the food station and even cleared my table while I was still eating with my daughter. It felt very disrespectful and inconsiderate. I think she needs more training in providing good customer service. Aside from that, the rest of our stay was pleasant.
