The Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center receives mixed reviews, praised for cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient amenities like breakfast and parking. However, guests consistently report significant noise from sirens and ambulance activity due to the hotel’s proximity to a hospital and medical center, alongside concerns about the surrounding neighborhood's unsettling atmosphere and security.

As an ambulance siren enthusiast - I LOVED staying here. From the WA WAAAA WA WAAAA’s to the NEEE NAWWWW NEEE NAWWW’s at all hours it was just fantastic. Did not disappoint. Also, as someone who suffers from reuseophobia, a fear of eating from plates or cutlery others have used before, it was great to just have paper plates and plastic forks with my eggs each day.

This hotel was one of the better ones we've stayed at that was part of the Hilton brand. Really nice overall. We were given water upon arrival. Our room smelled so fresh when we walked in! Good view of the city from our room. Pretty decent breakfast. Garage parking was across from the hotel, walking distance. The only reason I gave a 4-star rating was the location, being so close to a hospital. We kept hearing sirens and even though we we given ear plugs, we were only given one pair and there were 4 of us. Not too bad though, would highly recommend if you don't mind siren noises. Wouldn't mind staying again if we're ever back in Boston. It is good value for money.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and evening cookies are a wonderful touch! Standard Hampton Inn, but i was surprised that no in-room safe. Looks like a very nice swimming pool on the 9th floor, but I didn’t get a chance to try it. Very heavy and strong presence by security guards, so you feel very protected, but it also shows that the neighborhood is not the best. At the same time I had no problems walking all the time from and to this hotel. Noise level from ambulances to a nearby hospital is truly crazy — those sirens are very loud! A major drawback on this otherwise very pleasant hotel. Good convenient garage, but $30 per day — in my opinion unreasonably expensive. Room service is every day!

Pros: Hampton Inn At Boston Crosstown Center is a mile of nice walk to Northeastern campus. The room was very clean, and the amenity was as described. The staff was courteous and helpful. They provide a great breakfast selection too. Great value! Cons: It is right next to Boston medical center and a police headquarters. There were sirens every 5 min during the day and maybe every 15 min at night.

This is a perfectly fine hotel. Hampton Inn is a reliable brand and this place is no exception. The reception, the public spaces, our room, and the amenities are all just fine. The parking is in a multi-level garage that relative to any other city is reasonably priced. It is located in a place that seems convenient for many people visiting Boston on business, especially in the medical fields because it's right next to a large Boston University medical Center. My downgrade on stars for location mainly comes from the fact that the surrounding area is a little sketchy. I would not suggest walking at night. Even in the daytime there was out in the open and obvious drug dealing. I saw heroin and hypodermic needles being exchanged right out in the open and many used hypodermic needles on the sidewalk. This could be any large city, I realize that. The price, central location, and the hotel itself were very good. I can't find any fault in the hotel itself whatsoever. Just be aware that if you are staying here and using public transportation be vigilant on the street. There is a large homeless population in the area and I mean this would no offense but if you are nervous about being out at night in that atmosphere then use Uber or taxis to get around.

Very comfortable and clean Parking is very close two minutes walking distance I was very appreciative of the bed that was comfortable and I would say on the first side, which I always prefer The only thing there was a lot of sirens in the morning. It didn’t bother us, but for the sensitive ones it might the hotel provides earplugs. Also, I wanna say that my partner enjoyed the war pool And I really appreciated it as well the ability to connect Netflix from our devices. Also, last thing we never felt unsafe during our stay there.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Boston and overall had a good experience. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was satisfying, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The location was convenient in terms of transportation—there’s easy access to buses, and the line 1 can take you directly to Boston Common, which is very convenient. However, the neighborhood felt a bit unsettling. There were a lot of unusual people hanging around near the hotel/hospital, which made the area feel a little uncomfortable. This was the main downside of the stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its comfort and amenities, but be aware that the surrounding area may feel a bit sketchy.

It was a bit loud outside, and the TV didn’t work at first, but I was able to adjust the HDMI cord and get it working. Room was clean, morning breakfast good. I didn’t use any amenities. The front desk people were very kind. I did notice unhoused people nearby. They were outside the hotel area and not causing issues, and security was present. I walked from the garage to my room around 1 a.m. and felt safe. There is a nearby hospital, so there is foot traffic to and from the garage throughout the night, which explains some of the activity. Overall, I felt comfortable during my stay.

Experience begins at front desk. Host was very knowledgeable and personable. Rooms were clean. Didn’t use any amenities. Only issue was sirens and plane traffic. Ear plugs are in the room but both my wife acclimated to the noise. Overall a good stay

This hotel has an amazing customer staff. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The breakfast service was on point…great selection. I felt very comfortable staying here. There is a great shuttle service that takes you to and from the city. The next time I come, won’t need to rent a car. The location is close to medical center, where it did get a little noisy with the sirens at night, but what was so cool about this hotel is that they provided ear plugs in the room. Now, that is stellar service. I’m from NY and I have never received earplugs for free in a NY hotel. Plus, I had a small mishap with my parking, where they were able to resolve for me. This was my first time in Boston and I had a great stay at this hotel during my visit
