Hotel needs a full makeover. Didn’t feel very clean, and I think because it was just a heavily used hotel and needs refreshed. Highway noise was a bit intense even for a city guy, wasn’t the best for sleep. Location is great, and probably what the hotel has most going for it. Could be hit with the right renovations.

The location is good and the rooms are modern and in good condition. The staff however, between front desk and housekeeping, is what makes me not want to stay here again. The front desk staff do the bare minimum and are not trying to be helpful. Housekeeping is very erratic, with random amenities replenished and late service applied.

I have to open with high praise tocthe desk clerk, Nakia. Aside from the top notch customer service that she provided me with during my stay, I got to observe her with other guests. She is consistently attentive, patient, caring and effective. She is a definite selling point and bench mark for this property and your brand as a whole. If she is not advanced in the company, it is a grave judgement call on the part of administration. The rooms are comfortable but could use some upgrading. I don’t understand why they only give you one washcloth and hand towel when you’re checking in as a couple, and if they aren’t going to have microwaves in the rooms, at least a common one in the lobby would be great. The pool was very nice.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel is literally right off the highway, easy on and off. The best part of the hotel is that it is out of all the madness of Downtown Boston. It is not as packed and hectic. The hotel felt like it was recently refurbished. Everything felt clean and new. Our room was super spacious and comfortable. Although it was literally near the highway, you did not hear any extra noise or anything. The parking situation was on sight and easy to use, not too expensive. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Big tip for this hotel is to park on the street. The hotel has parking but of course it is pricey. There are parking meters on Washington street and parking at night is free! The hourly rate for the meters is $1.50 per hour. If you are going to be out driving most of the day, the meters are the way to go. Especially with the free parking at night. They use an app called PassportParking. The hotel is over the highway. So there is some noise from that. The rooms are fairly small. Free coffee in the lobby!! Overall this hotel has good value for trips into Boston or visits to area Universities. Boston traffic though... ugh!

Wasn’t bad at all as has been written in many reviews before. Would actually give 5 stars but for the road noise that seeped into the room. My room had a white noise sound machine to neutralize the road noise. But that wasn’t helping much. The reception area is perennially busy with lots of people hanging around. The breakfast ($20++) is good stuff with eggs made to order. The lady is attentive and super efficient. Always available coffee and hot drinks is a nice touch.

We had a hectic cheer comp weekend, but the awesome staff at Four Points by Sheraton Boston Newton made our stay a stand out experience regardless! From the moment we walked through the doors Alicia and Nakia (at the front desk) were welcoming and helped us sort out some parking issues right away and were just genuinely kind and easy to deal with. They joked around but had real solutions and seriously lightened the mood. After a long day of travel and getting to bed a little late, we had a last minute “squishy explosion” situation. Michelle from housekeeping somehow got the bed completely changed out in record time, total lifesaver! Also, when we realized we didn’t have any clean towels without too much time to spare, they were delivered to our room within minutes. Pamela at the restaurant was also great, quick and efficient without making anything feel rushed. The rooms were spacious and clean. There are a lot of places to meet up if you are traveling with others. The food was fine and not too overpriced. The pool was a little small and cold. The best part was the place was hopping and the staff handled a lot of concerns with ease and stayed in a good mood the whole time. When you’re traveling for cheer things always seem to go a little sideways, so it really matters to be somewhere with people who are friendly and jump in to help, and this place definitely has that vibe. We’ll be back next year for sure!

This was a nice hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was very clean. The only thing I found was that there were 3 people at the front desk but only one person was checking people in. The stairway from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor smelled gross; however, once we were back in the hotel area the smell was gone. I would recommend this hotel, though breakfast was a bit pricy for what was served at the buffet.

Please Avoid! This is not a standard Marriott hotel overall. A mouse was found! Attached final bill.(Mickey means Mouse for them)I only book one room for me and my brother. Due to the weather I did not even make it to Boston so I added my brother’s name to help him to check in without me. Somehow the management team used almost 2 month to investigate, and they told me I total have 2 rooms got charged for 3 night is correct and both rooms key been used. (I booked only one room for 2 night, due to the weather I can’t even make it to Boston for the first night and since we know there is mouse I did not even stay there for the second day reservation. I even mentioned in the Email, I don’t care about double charge, I would like to have a real investigation how come I can have two rooms with only one room reservation and the only thing they can tell me is both rooms were checked in, and one room checked in at 5:41, the other one checked at 7:43. The entire thing is a joke. Haven’t stayed at anything related to Marriott this bad ever.

As a long-time Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador member and frequent business traveler in the medical field, I expect a certain baseline of service and comfort. Unfortunately, my stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Newton fell well below Marriott standards. I was not acknowledged or greeted as an Ambassador upon arrival. The room itself was cold, worn, and dated, and the bed was uncomfortable—far from what I expect after long workdays. I reported these issues to the front desk during my stay. At checkout, I was told their system was down and that I could not be checked out properly. I attempted to check out through the Bonvoy app instead. It has now been over a week, and I am still waiting for my receipt. Although my credit card has been charged, the stay is not showing in my Bonvoy account, and I never received a departure email. I contacted Marriott Bonvoy customer service for assistance, but they were unable to resolve the issue or provide meaningful help. Overall, this experience was disappointing and frustrating, particularly given my loyalty to Marriott. This property does not meet the standards I associate with the brand, and I would not choose to stay here again for business travel.
