Fine, conscientious service at the end of the train and S3 bus line into downtown Boston. Manager on duty started texting me immediately after check-in to make sure everything was OK, television in room had a welcoming message with my name on it, and room included both microwave and refrigerator. Airport shuttle every 30 minutes. No significant noise except for some trains honking as they passed through a nearby station. Gas and food options within a block.

Very nice, clean hotel with a restaurant on site. Rooms are good size and comfortable. Food is definitely better than what is usually available these days at hotel "restaurants". Has a nice variety including steak tips and clam chowder which were both very good. Easy parking and pretty cheap at only $30.

My friends booked this hotel months in advance for their honeymoon and arrived at 1:30 AM only to be told their reservation had been “cancelled” on the hotel’s end, even though they had proof through Hotels.com that it was fully paid and never cancelled. The hotel staff offered little explanation or accountability and then tried to offer them another room for double the original price because it was Memorial Day weekend. Hotels.com later confirmed the reservation was never cancelled on their side, which makes the whole situation even more frustrating. Completely irresponsible handling of reservations especially for people traveling late at night for such an important trip.

The hotel is close to the airport which is convenient, however the commuter train is right next to the hotel. Makes for a loud, long evening. The food is outstanding! Highly recommend the steak tips and shrimp!! Thomas, the bartender, is very nice! He remembers your name, always has a smile, and looks out for his customers! I was pleased with my visit at the Pendulum Pub!

I had very mixed experiences during my stay March 6-10. The shuttle was easy to use. called the hotel and was picked up within 15 min. also used return to airport at 4 30 early run but was allowed to join the flight staff of Air Canada made check in a lot easier at the airport. the room was large, clean but had an adjoining room which made me a little uncomfortable as a single women. no problems until the night of March 9th. when the room became occupied as the party room for a travel group. constant slamming of the doors, people trying to enter through the connecting door and LOUD until 330 am. the computers at the business center were not working however the front desk offered to print my boarding pass and did so pleasantly and quickly. thank you There is inconsistant communication through out the hotel. During breakfast using the Buffett was easy. however on my first morning they asked if I was a Hilton Honors member and was told as a Hilton honors member they could make me a custom omelet or fresh eggs as well. depending on the day the servers thought it was included and other days it was not. Not a huge problem but frustrating. My biggest complaint is with housekeeping . When I arrived there was a broken glass in the bathroom. notified the front desk and let them know it was ok to be handled the following day when housekeeping came. Well no show , so the following day when I meet them in the hall asked if my room was scheduled and they said yes. broken glass was removed but not replaced. dirty towels were taken from the floor and rehung , no garbage was removed, nothing was vacuumed or cleaned however the bed was made. That was the only time housekeeping showed up through out the entire 4 night stay. Needless to say the garbage piled up, there were no replenishment of coffee, tea, sweeteners or paper cups. There was shampoo and conditioner and that was it, no soap or bath gel ever. I travel often for work and my company usually selects a Hilton hotel. I have come to expect a lot more than what I experienced with the Doubletree in Chelsea.

We had an incredible stay in Boston over this weekend, it was my anniversary with my gf and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The staff mainly Yari was so amazing, so kind and friendly, from the second we walked in she had a smile on her face. The cookie they gave us was amazing to the point that we had to buy a tin to take home with us. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Boston and we pray to see Yari and have the same wonderful experience. Thank you so much for making our anniversary special!!!

This should have been a great stay but honestly we were very disappointed overall. 1) Parking was too expensive 2) TV did not work in the room 3) Refrigerator also did not work 4) We got a breakfast credit but for that breakfast?! We still had to pay another $17 dollars after the credit. Not worth it. 5) with the exception of the person working breakfast who was friendly and helpful everyone else was super unfriendly and could not be bothered. Not a hello or good morning from anyone. 6) The property looks relatively new, but it’s already in disrepair in many areas. This is not Hilton worthy behavior and made for an uncomfortable stay. Next time we can are in Boston we will look elsewhere.

The heavy glass shower door does not stay closed. There is no anti-slip mat for the shower. which is dangerous. It takes some time hot water to get up to the fourth floor. All the rest is fine the baddest comfortable in the heat can be controlled by a thermostat which is in the room. Not too much noise traffic because you can't open the window for fresh air.

I think my only issue would be -- not much variety in meal options! But, what was available was good! I would like to say that the staff are friendly. The bartender/wait staff Thomas (14) was the greatest.

Ana, who managed the morning breakfast, went above and beyond and made sure that everything was well stocked, clean and appetizing! It was super convenient to the airport and very easy to use the shuttle to get back in to the airport for my flight. I highly recommend this place!
