The Ramada Boston offers a budget-friendly option in the Boston area, with mostly positive reviews highlighting its affordability and friendly staff. However, recent feedback indicates issues with room cleanliness, outdated facilities, and inconsistent service. Some guests experienced problems with service animals and overall hotel condition.
I stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham in Boston and found it to be a decent budget-friendly option. The room did the job for the price, and everything was functional and clean enough for a short stay. That said, I expected a little more from the room itself. One thing that surprised me was that the windows looked out into the interior hallway rather than outside, which made the room feel a bit closed off. The complimentary breakfast was about what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range—not amazing, but enough to get your day started. I also appreciated that there were always free hot drinks available in the lobby, which was a nice touch after a long day of exploring the city. Transit access isn't the greatest, but it's manageable. The closest Red Line station is about a 30-minute walk away, so getting around Boston without a car is still possible with some planning. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable place to stay and don't mind a few compromises, this hotel gets the job done.
Amazingly hospitable with an authentic kindness we all could benefit from. The staff, both morning and evening shifts, are accommodating to your specific situation. The room was very clean. You can tell this place is well taken care of with love ad care. Under different circumstances I would have extended my stay I felt so welcomed. You even get a free game of bowling at the alley across the way simply for being a guest.
Honestly, enjoyed the environment and the friendly staff. I was welcome and they were able to answer any questions I had. They were also able to help me do a late checkout which most hotels don’t do now. I was with my daughter and she enjoyed the pool, It’s really clean and perfect. Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in!!
Maybe a bit spendy for what it is but that might just be the ast coast or Boston, idk im from South Dakota, it was still the cheapest place i could find and it wasn't too bad. We stayed in what was definitely an older room, as there are two chucks to the hotel--new and old. It was, however clean, and I was never uncomfortable. Staff was nice and helpful and the shuttle back and fourth to the train station was great.
My stay at the Ramada by Wyndham Boston was disappointing. I travel with a trained service animal due to a medical condition and encountered several issues with staff regarding ADA service animal rules. I was initially told I would have to pay a pet fee, asked to provide documentation for my service animal, told my dog was not allowed in the breakfast dining area, and informed there is a 40-pound weight limit that applies even to service animals. I have traveled with my service animal to many hotels and flights and have never experienced these types of restrictions before. My dog was calm, quiet, and well behaved the entire time. In addition to that experience, the condition of the hotel was not great. The hallway outside our room had water leaking from the ceiling and the overall cleanliness of the property was not what I expected. Guests traveling with service animals under the ADA may want to be aware of these issues before booking.
Pretty good room rate value for the Boston area that included free hot & cold breakfast. It was w/in 20 minute drive to Thomas Menino Convention Center formerly BCEC for the NIKE Boston National Qualifier. The wifi was terrible & tv channels which were only local ones were very limited. They offered free shuttles to the metro/subway area & charged $10 to Logan airport & Convention Center. The breakfast included fresh fruit of bananas, oranges, &/or apples along w/ cold yogurt. There were two waffle makers for the mix & a juice machine that had craberry, apple, but also had a water option & I think perhaps OJ? The hallways are run down but the room was spacious enough that included a mini fridge & coffee maker along w/ a safe & hair dryer. Overall the value was good for the Boston area w/ free 2 or 3 day cancellation.
It is a discount hotel for sure, but the staff is more professional than any top tier resort. The breakfast is above average for a hotel at this rate and the location is excellent. Rooms are clean, they have security on site, and is certainly a hotel I'll book again. You cannot do better in the Boston area for the price.
The location is great it is near everything. The staff is very disrespectful expect Kory and Shawna and the other guy that works there with dreadlocks. I'm Disappointed in the cleaning ladies expects two and the Manger Jose is great if your going hire cleaning staff they should speak all Languages not just one. The shuttle bus should run all 7 days of the week. The manger needs to do better as well and you need put ATM Machine in the lobby your guest should not have to go to Boston Bowl and you should have Quarters as easy not just rolls and you should have Quarters in draw all the time we should not have to go Boston bowl for Quarters.
Manger there knows our situation is now charging us a 225.00 hold which is unacceptable. The cleaning staff is rude and disrespectful and unprofessional needs to do better at this location???? Manger favors other customers over some others?? You’ll Need to better with people at the front Desk to the only one sweet ones there that is very helpful is Kory and Jaylan and a nice lady and the the guy in dreadlocks is great as well on night shift and Shawna is great to ?????? The rest staff at the front desk needs to go or needs to learn manners and be more patient. I think a long time customer the hold needs to go????
I give 3 stars for room simply because the times I've stayed with them there were a few issues. The first night with them the actual faucet in the bathroom came off while I was showering. Then the last two nights we was there, the TV was having issues and the door would not close properly without having to slam it, not hard but with enough force for it to close right. Also one of our key cards stopped working as well. However I give 5 stars on everything else. The staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond!! Very sweet and hospitable and me being from the south, that's a very welcoming sign to me! The breakfast, though I've not tried myself my partner had and he loved it each time we stayed with the variety and the length to which they serve 6am to 10am so that us sleep iners are able to enjoy a good hot meal :) out of any hotel I've stayed in while being here in massachusetts this is one is by far my go to! Thank you to the hotel staff for being accompanying and welcoming!!!
