Guests generally appreciate the friendly staff and good breakfast value, though mixed reviews highlight significant issues with outdated rooms, inconsistent maintenance, and aggressive front-desk behavior.

My stay at the Ramada by Wyndham Boston was disappointing. I travel with a trained service animal due to a medical condition and encountered several issues with staff regarding ADA service animal rules. I was initially told I would have to pay a pet fee, asked to provide documentation for my service animal, told my dog was not allowed in the breakfast dining area, and informed there is a 40-pound weight limit that applies even to service animals. I have traveled with my service animal to many hotels and flights and have never experienced these types of restrictions before. My dog was calm, quiet, and well behaved the entire time. In addition to that experience, the condition of the hotel was not great. The hallway outside our room had water leaking from the ceiling and the overall cleanliness of the property was not what I expected. Guests traveling with service animals under the ADA may want to be aware of these issues before booking.

Pretty good room rate value for the Boston area that included free hot & cold breakfast. It was w/in 20 minute drive to Thomas Menino Convention Center formerly BCEC for the NIKE Boston National Qualifier. The wifi was terrible & tv channels which were only local ones were very limited. They offered free shuttles to the metro/subway area & charged $10 to Logan airport & Convention Center. The breakfast included fresh fruit of bananas, oranges, &/or apples along w/ cold yogurt. There were two waffle makers for the mix & a juice machine that had craberry, apple, but also had a water option & I think perhaps OJ? The hallways are run down but the room was spacious enough that included a mini fridge & coffee maker along w/ a safe & hair dryer. Overall the value was good for the Boston area w/ free 2 or 3 day cancellation.

It is a discount hotel for sure, but the staff is more professional than any top tier resort. The breakfast is above average for a hotel at this rate and the location is excellent. Rooms are clean, they have security on site, and is certainly a hotel I'll book again. You cannot do better in the Boston area for the price.

The location is great it is near everything. The staff is very disrespectful expect Kory and Shawna and the other guy that works there with dreadlocks. I'm Disappointed in the cleaning ladies expects two and the Manger Jose is great if your going hire cleaning staff they should speak all Languages not just one. The shuttle bus should run all 7 days of the week. The manger needs to do better as well and you need put ATM Machine in the lobby your guest should not have to go to Boston Bowl and you should have Quarters as easy not just rolls and you should have Quarters in draw all the time we should not have to go Boston bowl for Quarters.

Manger there knows our situation is now charging us a 225.00 hold which is unacceptable. The cleaning staff is rude and disrespectful and unprofessional needs to do better at this location???? Manger favors other customers over some others?? You’ll Need to better with people at the front Desk to the only one sweet ones there that is very helpful is Kory and Jaylan and a nice lady and the the guy in dreadlocks is great as well on night shift and Shawna is great to ?????? The rest staff at the front desk needs to go or needs to learn manners and be more patient. I think a long time customer the hold needs to go????

I give 3 stars for room simply because the times I've stayed with them there were a few issues. The first night with them the actual faucet in the bathroom came off while I was showering. Then the last two nights we was there, the TV was having issues and the door would not close properly without having to slam it, not hard but with enough force for it to close right. Also one of our key cards stopped working as well. However I give 5 stars on everything else. The staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond!! Very sweet and hospitable and me being from the south, that's a very welcoming sign to me! The breakfast, though I've not tried myself my partner had and he loved it each time we stayed with the variety and the length to which they serve 6am to 10am so that us sleep iners are able to enjoy a good hot meal :) out of any hotel I've stayed in while being here in massachusetts this is one is by far my go to! Thank you to the hotel staff for being accompanying and welcoming!!!

I’m honestly confused on all the bad reviews. Our room was clean and adequate. Nothing fancy here, but we didn’t pay for fancy. Simple complementary breakfast, running from 6am-10am. We arrived late at night, around 11:30PM and staff were helpful and friendly. Parking right by the hotel was easy. We stayed for 2 nights - Room service came by around 10AM after our first night. Water pressure was lacking and shower head was a bit short - excellent hot water, though. Walls were thin, but our neighbors were respectful with noise levels. 4 stars because it just needs general updating and… In general, expectations were met. We certainly didn’t experience any of the horrors described in other reviews - no bed bugs, no ceiling leaks, our key cards worked just fine… there was also a candle pin/bowling/billiard/food place right across the street that was fun to walk over to-seemed family friendly. The general area isn’t really much, more commercial. I hope this helps folks deciding on their stay here!

Property is old but clean and room is decent apart from the old smell (not fresh or refreshed smell) when you entered the room. Toilet flush sounded like a big crash and disturbing esp at night. TV, fridge and other accessories are available in the room. Good. The check-in staff was extremely RUDE and shockingly BRAZEN. There was a woman (black with nose ring and long blonde wig with a hair band) at the reception. She impressed upon us and everyone waiting to be checked-in as if we were begging for free accommodation. If im the hotel operator, I would FIRE that person on the SPOT. She brought down the reputation of the BRAND. We arrived at 2:58PM. The woman behavior towards us was unacceptable. She could have gently said kindly wait for another 2-3 minutes and check in will be processed accordingly. Instead, she said with such RUDE tone with an angry ugly expression on her face to wait and cannot check in until 3PM. There was another gentleman besides us waiting to be checked in. We were all shocked!!! by the behavior of this QUEEN of Ramada Boston.

If I could give this place a lesser review I would. We started off by having a room with no manuel lock that works and the door was a "outside" room that had a inch gap in the top and bottom of the door. I requested a better room. They gave me a nice looking room on 3rd floor and it looked way better. When I got in there and started looking around we found bed bugs on walls and behind picture frame and headboards that are hanging on wall. The guy at fromt desk told me to call hotels.com and ask for a rendund. He whispered it to me so his coworker could not here him. I did what he suggested and then they called him. He called me to desk and had a angry voice and hightedened anger. He told me I'm not getting a full refund and I told him I was only there for a hour and I deserve a full refund. He got mad and said whatever but I had to leave then. I said that was my plan. He got a attitude and said a few rude comments to me and my pregnant woman .he then called security and lied to them saying I was causing a problem and being angry towards him. They talked to me and other witnesses and realized the guy was the issue and not me. The security team was outstanding and professional. These guys both need raises. True gentlemen they were. The other guy behind desk with braided hair was very rude. He cussed at me and raised his voice to me and my pregnant wife in front of my 4 year old son. I am very very disappointed and will be continuing to purse a reasonable outcome. I just wanted everyone to know this was a horrible experience and will never ever be back. This all went down at 1115 pm when my son should have been asleep.

This hotel is outside the city center but makes up for that with more reasonable room prices. They have a shuttle service a few times in the morning that can take you to the closest train station and then you can use the wonderful public transportation system to go where you want to go. You will need to contact a rideshare service to get back to the hotel, though. A substantial breakfast is served although it's not the most tasty breakfast. Food can be taken to the room and kept in the fridge. A nice feature is that room service is provided every day!!!! Beds are made, fresh towels and toiletries provided. Lots of snacks are available for purchase but they're very unhealthy snacks. A better selection would be nice.
