Set in a striking landmark, the hotel offers a serene sanctuary where every moment is infused with grace and refinement. From its artful design to its world-class hospitality, Raffles Boston delivers an experience that is both timeless and extraordinary. Here, the spirit of Boston meets the legendary charm of Raffles.
The Raffles Boston consistently receives rave reviews for its exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and attention to detail. Guests frequently highlight the personalized butler service, exquisite room design, and welcoming atmosphere. While some minor concerns regarding certain amenities have been raised, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, positioning the hotel as a top-tier luxury destination in Boston.
We booked two rooms as we were in town to celebrate our adult son's birthday. The adjoining rooms were luxurious, well-appointed, spotlessly clean, and the service was extraordinary. There were lovely personal touches like water bottles left on the night stand and treats delivered to the room while we were out for dinner. They even left birthday greetings in my son's room with thoughtful hand written notes on everything. We felt extremely well cared for the entire stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top tier experience and a bit of pampering. We look forward to staying there again.
Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel like family. We had no reservation, but we’re extremely well Taken care of. It was hard to leave. Facilities were top notch, truly one of the best luxury city hotels in the world.
World-class service defines a great hotel — and Raffles Boston sets a new standard. Traveling alone, service matters — and Raffles Boston delivered in a way that felt genuinely thoughtful, not performative. I came in unsure how much the Butler concept would add — and it ended up elevating the entire experience. My butler, JD, met me personally and went far beyond a standard orientation. He made the experience feel personal — less like a tour, more like being hosted. The 17th-floor check-in feels more like arriving at a home than a lobby — warm, layered, and inviting. From the circular staircase to the mural-painted walls, beautiful fabrics, a houndstooth sofa in the reading room, the long bar with sweeping views, and green velvet couches, every detail feels intentional. I had lunch and a glass of Prosecco while taking it all in, and it felt effortless and elegant. I later spent time in a beautifully appointed suite, and what stood out most was how comfortable the staff made me feel throughout the day — warm, attentive, and present without hovering. That led to a lovely, unexpected experience meeting other guests and sharing champagne before connecting with friends later that evening. The speakeasy is a very cool venue, and the main restaurant is a must-do for my next visit. Raffles Boston isn’t just beautiful — it delivers a level of care I’ve rarely experienced, and I’ve traveled all over the world.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Raffles for 3 nights and we loved every minute of it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, pleasantries and the utmost respect. The entire booking & check-in experience was seamless and pleasant, thanks to Alyssa in reservations who went above and beyond to ensure our room & floor preference were catered to. Our room was ready early for us upon our request, and every detail was well appointed. The rooms were pristine, without smelling like terrible cleaning chemicals, which I deeply appreciated because I’m very sensitive to smells. The turn down service every night was lovely. And the Butler team was so accommodating. We ate breakfast at the Long Bar each morning and it was perfect. Lots of gluten free options for me, and the food was fresh, and excellent quality. Beckett and Kim were the sweetest servers and we looked forward to seeing them each morning. All of the hotel staff greeted my husband and I by name at every encounter. The spa area and pool were perfection. So clean, warm, and peaceful. It was truly a zen retreat for us. We bumped into Lauren Soriano (Director of PR) in the elevator and she was so kind and even went above and beyond to deliver a thoughtful note to our room later on. Overall, we had an incredible experience and cannot wait to return. We truly felt like we were surrounded by friends during our entire stay. Excellent location for walking/shopping to Newbury, Copley, Prudential, Back Bay, Beacon Hill and the South End. Can’t recommend it enough.
We stayed in a one-bedroom suite at Raffles Boston, originally booking the Emerald Suite and ultimately being placed in a comparable suite—and the experience was exceptional. The space was beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, offering a true luxury suite feel rather than just an oversized hotel room. The living area was comfortable and elegant, perfect for relaxing or entertaining, while the bedroom felt calm and refined with an incredibly comfortable bed. The finishes, lighting, and attention to detail throughout the suite were exactly what you’d expect from Raffles—sophisticated without feeling overdone. Service was polished and seamless, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel feels intimate, elevated, and impeccably managed. Whether it was the room itself, the amenities, or the sense of quiet luxury, everything exceeded expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the one-bedroom suites for anyone looking for a truly upscale Boston hotel experience.
I stayed at Raffles Boston for my birthday and the experience was incredible from start to finish. When we arrived, our room was beautifully set up with a small cake dessert and fruit, which made the stay feel so special and thoughtful. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted and offered help with our bags. Check-in was seamless, and the service throughout our stay was extremely attentive. They truly take their butler service seriously, I was honestly surprised by some of the other reviews because our experience was the complete opposite. They were always just a text away and even brought a microwave up to our room without hesitation. The room itself was spotless with gorgeous aesthetics, an amazing soaking tub, and a stunning view of the city that made the stay even more memorable. We also booked a couples massage at the spa and were absolutely blown away from the service to the amenities and the beautiful pool that not many people seem to know about. We definitely took advantage of room service, which was delicious, though we wish we had checked out at least one of the many on-site restaurants since we heard great things about them. Overall, an unforgettable stay and we will definitely be back!
Overall, a wonderful stay at Raffles Boston. I usually stay at Four Seasons and wanted to check out Raffles for a friend’s Christmas celebration. The staff was warm and welcoming throughout. The service felt a bit more subtle than the Four Seasons, but still excellent and attentive. A special shout out to Jason at the Long Bar for truly wonderful and kind breakfast service. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Hands down, this is the best hotel gym I have ever experienced. The spa was lovely, clean, and relaxing, and the location simply cannot be beat. I will always love the Four Seasons, but Raffles is a very strong second option when staying in Boston.
This is the best hotel in Boston, no question about it. Our first visit was this weekend and from checkin to checkout everything was perfect. The room was stunning with warm colors, interesting wallpaper and lots of books. The spa was extraordinary and we had fun at blind duck for drinks. Breakfast at Long Bar was lovely. Every staff person we encountered was delightful. Can't wait to return!
We chose Raffles Boston to celebrate our anniversary, expecting a truly elevated, detail-driven luxury experience. Overall, our stay was exceptional, and the staff was consistently prompt, professional, and warm. Service requests were handled quickly, and the property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. That said, at this price point, the details matter — and a few of them fell short of expectations. We were anticipating a more traditional Raffles-style butler experience, which did not materialize. While service was responsive, it lacked the proactive, anticipatory element typically associated with the brand. The spa facilities were lovely; however, the signature shower experience was not functioning during our visit, which was disappointing given that it is a highlighted feature of the spa. Additionally, we had arranged for champagne and a charcuterie board to be ready upon arrival as an anniversary surprise, but it was not prepared in time, which unfortunately took away from a special moment. Some of the physical touches also felt inconsistent with a hotel of this caliber. The toilet paper quality was surprisingly basic, and while robes and slippers were provided, they were not as soft or plush as one would expect at this level. We did still enjoy our stay and appreciated the professionalism of the staff, but the accumulation of small oversights diluted what should have been a seamless luxury experience — particularly given the premium pricing and expectations associated with the Raffles name. With closer attention to these finer details, this property has the potential to truly excel. I would go again, but I would heavily consider the price point.
Our stay was fantastic. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The butler service felt exclusive and incredibly convenient. We experienced a heater issue at first, but the team responded quickly and made several attempts to solve it. In the end, they upgraded us to a beautiful room, which made us feel truly cared for. Since it was my birthday, they even sent up treats with a thoughtful handwritten note. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
