The Omni Parker House is a historic Boston hotel known for its prime location in the heart of the city and its connection to the origins of Boston cream pie and Parker house rolls. Recent reviews highlight consistently positive experiences with the staff and a generally elegant atmosphere, though some concerns regarding room size and occasional disruptions (like fire alarms) have been raised.
We came in for a wedding. The entire stay was amazing. We got stuck 3 extra days as snow stopped the planes. LOL The entire staff was amazing. Ammonia Gomes was extremely friendly, great at here job. Our room always looked amazing. She went above and beyond for us and I know you all are lucky to have her as one of your staff. We truly enjoyed our stay and thank you all so much for everything.
I stayed here this weekend for a volleyball tournament. Booked a suite, it was spacious and comfortable for three people. (aside from our 2nd floor view of the alley, it was a nice room). The service was amazing, everyone was so helpful from check in to check out. My husband dropped his wallet in front of the hotel, with a large amount of cash in it, and the door man turned it in and nothing was missing. That honesty was greatly appreciated. the location was amazing, close to restaurants, walking distance or a quick train ride to all of our destinations. Breakfast at Parkers was great, and room service was good, but pricey. would stay again.
I haven’t stayed at this hotel since September 2025. At that time, it felt outdated, and although upgrades were in progress, they weren’t moving fast enough, so I chose other hotels instead. I returned last night and checked in with Ericka, she was absolutely amazing. I asked if the rooms had been updated, and she assured me they had. She was right, I’m officially back in love with this place. I know the hotel is historic and known for being haunted, so be sure to ask the front desk about its history, they’ll give you a packet and it makes the stay more fun. My night was peaceful, and the water temperature in the shower was perfect. The shower is a bit on the small side, but the upgrades more than make up for it. Happy staying!
The Parker House is our go to spot whenever we are in Boston. It’s beautiful and elegant. The staff are amazing! From Jacqui in guest services to our friends at The Last Hurrah…(hotel bar). Bartenders Ryan and Nick are outstanding as well as Hope…who will greet you with a smile and make you feel at home. Francisco, Peggy, Lillian, Andrew and John are the best! The Parker House and The Last Hurrah have become our “Boston Home” and should be yours too!
I came back to Omni Parker House and, like always, the hotel itself was beautiful, historic, super clean, and the service was excellent. The location is amazing too, you can pretty much walk everywhere. I was a bit disappointed with the iconic Boston cream pie, though. I remembered it being rich and creamy from years ago, but this time it tasted kind of bland and just average. Maybe the recipe changed, I’m not sure. Overall, we still had a great stay and really enjoyed our time there, Boston is always such a lovely place to visit.
Nice hotel in a great location. Rooms were a little on the smaller side but were clean and comfy. The staff was also very friendly as well - the only problem was the internet. It was super spotty and would keep disconnecting which was not ideal for working from home situations. The hotel store in the front area is super overpriced - over $7 for a bottle of water
Had a great day with my family at the Omni Parker House! This is where the Boston cream pie was invented and created! I enjoyed the short rib grilled cheese with a Boston cream pie martini my wife and daughter got the herb chicken sandwich while my other daughter got the French onion soup! The staff was very accommodating and made you feel extra special! I’m looking forward to book a couple of overnights so we can enjoy Boston and it’s night life! The history of this building and area are amazing!
We stopped to try their famous parker house rolls. Parker house rolls are a family tradition at our holidays and since they invented them we thought we should see how close the were to ours. They tasted just like the ones we make. The shape was the only difference. They were so yummy. We also tried their Boston creme pie. It was excellent also.
Beautiful and historical location. The hotel is basically on the freedom trail , within a 10/15 minutes walk of all the Boston areas. The staff is very kind and helpful, hotel is kept nice and clean despite the age. Indeed some rooms might be a bit tight and website pictures while booking might not reflect the reality but still livable. Hotel has a restaurant a bar and a pub. We’ve tried the restaurant one and food was very good and of course we couldn’t skip the Boston Cream Pie , delicious! Hotel as Also a small Starbucks and convenience store . Highly recommended.
We stayed 4 nights at the Parker house around Christmas. It is well maintained and the rooms are recently updated. It is in a perfect location, within walking distance of every T line. If we come back to Boston, we would stay here again
