The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport receives predominantly positive feedback, highlighted by exceptional customer service, convenient location, and attractive amenities. However, recurring concerns involve inconsistent housekeeping, small room sizes (particularly in the Artist Tower), and issues with elevator functionality and billing irregularities.

Stayed at the Omni only because my company booked it. The day before, I reached out to see about early check-in (1 pm), to be told I would have to pay $75 for an early check in. I have never had to pay any hotel (and have never stayed in an Omni before) for that. Upon arrival, was told I was 16th in line for early room. I was not welcomed as a member of their loyalty program or offered the “Welcome drink” I should have received. Room was fairly clean - with the curtains open and sunlight illuminating the room, you could see previously cleaned stains on comforter - but was not willing to ask for new room. Four times that afternoon room service came by with pillows, blankets, extra robe - all things I never requested. How about this - they actually checked one of my co-workers into a room they already occupied (fortunately by another coworker). Fortunately we were at dinner when she arrived - to find luggage and electronics in the room. Apparently they were not overly concerned about a major security issue. Upon checkout this morning, I’m waiting in lobby for airport ride, and two desk agents just chat with each other - never giving any care to thanking a guest for staying or hope they come back soon. I will never personally stay at an Omni and will only be back to this one should my company book us there again. Maybe this was an off time for them as they had some health convention in hotel at same time (this was not the reason I was here) and the public spaces were crammed with convention attendees making it loud and busy.

I had a great experience with Alexander, the security guard at the Omni Hotel. From the moment I arrived, he was professional, attentive, and very welcoming. He made me feel safe and comfortable while also being friendly and approachable. Alexander clearly takes his job seriously and goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel secure and taken care of. His professionalism and positive attitude really stood out and made a great impression. The Omni Hotel is lucky to have someone like Alexander on their team.

I was here with my wife and daughter for her Volleyball tournament. We had an incredible experience at the Omni Boston Hotel, largely thanks to Tony Zin at the front desk. He didn't just check us in; he took the time to listen to our preferences and helped us find the perfect room for our stay. He also gave us excellent recommendations for the hotel’s bar and restaurant, which turned out to be the highlights of our evening. Tony’s hospitality and local insight are top-notch—he truly went the extra mile for us!

The hotel rooms were beautiful, clean, and updated. But the real star of the show was the service!!! They gave us a voucher for a free drink during our stay at check in. Additionally, and most importantly, they care about your safety. I was staying for a conference and unexpectedly had to depart a day early due to incoming blizzards headed our way. When letting the staff know that we were leaving due to weather, they stated that they could cancel the additional night on our reservation at no charge. WOW! That is not something that we expected at all. Most hotels wouldn’t allow such a thing, let alone say it upfront. THAT is how you show that you care for your customers. Because of that alone, I will 100% be booking with Omni again. Customer service matters, and they made me feel that my safety truly mattered.

My husband and I love this hotel! The rooms are small but clean and modern. The service is great at the front desk. The pool/jacuzzi is cool! We stayed last year in the winter and had concerns about the ice on the stairs to the pool and some of the outer areas and they listened to the guest’s concerns and added heated mats and an attendant this year! The only complaint I have is that the breakfast room service from Kestra is very slow. Both times we went here the room service was very late (over an hour last year and 45 mins this year). The food however was great. Finally, I love the spa here and general amenities like the Amazon Convenience Store, the on site parking, and the selection of restaurants. I will recommend this hotel to anyone!

The location was great - walking distance to everything in the Seaport area. We got a complimentary late checkout and room service breakfast was really tasty. Certain items were expensive- i.e. $6.50 Celcius - but great service and comfortable rooms. The rate for the room itself was very reasonable. Slept soundly on the 20th floor, with great views. Would definitely return if visiting Boston again!

It was my birthday and my friend wanted to pay the room in cash. She did, and they vocally told me that they would only charge $100 for incidentals. I said okay, fine. Later that night at dinner I couldn’t pay for my half because they actually took $530 off my card. Never asked, never told me. We went back to the front desk to speak with a manager, and the only manager they could come up with is the front desk manager who probably trained the same employees who have no idea what they are doing. He said I would get my refund of $226 back which is them stealing the “$100 for incidentals”. Where’s the rest of my monday though? I am now day 4 of fighting to get my money back. We also booked it for the hot-tub and pool and both were not working, waste of money. Unless you are a billionaire who doesn’t care how much a hotel scams you, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Booked this hotel for a 2 day Boston Trip. Drove from out of state 5 hours in inclement weather. Arrive at approx 2:45p-12/30/25. Check-in was pretty smooth-the young lady at the counter didn’t really speak so loud/clear. Left a bit unsure with directions for security deposit and fees. Whatever no biggie. Get the car parked; which is not free. Walk back over to hotel and get on the elevator; hit our floor 11 button and we go up fairly quick; land at floor 8. Elevator stops. Mins go by; realizing the elevator is stuck my wife panicked; I keep calm. Call all emergency buttons from elevator options. Security on the line; explain stuck for a few mins. Elevator goes completely dark; my wife panicked some more. A total of 15 or more mins security reaches us on the floor and manage to power it back on and we get off. Security then states will reach out to manager with our room number in regards to this incident. The afternoon/night/next morning go by. Nothing. We check out and they ask us how was everything; and we then explain what occurred the afternoon before. Manager on duty not aware; and says “will have my team look into it”. Anywho; did not get comped anything for this. Not even the parking fee for the overnight stay. Customer service handling this situation should’ve been better.

The hotel is small and cozy, and the room was very comfortable. The bed was perfectly placed across from the smart TV, making it easy to relax. The shower was excellent and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bathroom was a bit small but still clean and private. I stayed in an Artist Tower room, which was great overall—my only room-related complaint is that the walls are thin, so some outside noise can be heard. The amenities were a highlight. Café Cocorico was perfect for a quick warm drink, and the gym was well equipped with plenty of machines. Housekeeping was amazing and very quick when I left the room. My only real downside was the staff. I requested a microwave at the front desk and was told “okay,” but never received it and had to call later. At the Kestra restaurant, the hostess directed me to the website instead of answering my question about hours, which felt unhelpful. Overall, I had an amazing stay. The room was great, and the location is very convenient—about 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown.

I recently stayed at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and in a great location — close to restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront. The lobby and amenities are impressive, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. However, I was disappointed that my room was never cleaned during my stay. I even called guest services to request housekeeping and fresh towels/linens, but no one ever came. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected better follow-through and attention to guests’ needs. Overall, it’s a nice property with great potential, but the lack of housekeeping really affected my experience. I hope the management improves communication and service consistency moving forward.
