Guests consistently praise the Marriott Quincy Boston for cleanliness, quiet rooms with comfortable beds, and the friendliness of many staff members. However, variability in service quality is a major concern, with multiple reports of rude behavior and poor conflict resolution.

The check-in was super smooth. The lobby was very clean. Everybody in the staff was super helpful. Kimi was just the best. Her smile made my night and I will definitely be coming back five stars.

My husband and I recently attended a card show here. When we first arrived, there was a man directing cars to the parking garage with the gates all open stating all cars for the show were to park there and coralling all the cars in. Only thing that was said to us was "anything on the lower levels". Noone handed us a ticket, no-one mentioned a time limit, there were no signs or anything listed. We were there for 3 hours and 10 minutes. When we left, the gates were closed and noone was there, the machine only asked for a ticket or had an option for "lost ticket" which When pressed said the fee was $18. After sitting there for awhile trying to figure out what we were supposed to do, a man with the hotel finally walked over and asked if we were paying with cash. We explained we came for the cardshow and were only coralled into the garage but that noone had mentioned needing a ticket, he said "oh, yeah, someone was supposed to make an announcement in there that the first 3 hours are free and after that its $20." We let him know we got there at 11, so it was literally 10 minutes over the 3 hour mark. He said "yeah, so its $20 bucks or I can give it to you for the lost ticket so $18". We paid just so we could get out, and I said "someone should really go in there and let everyone else know because nothing was said to us or the cars around us" and he just walked away. I went online to see if anything was posted, and was even more livid to see that 3-6 hours was $10, not $20, so we got screwed twice. This was our first and only impression of the hotel, and after this experience I dont forsee us coming back again. The lack of communication and rude parking employee are enough to turn me off of it.

Contrary to recent reviews that concerned us, we found the facility, rooms, front desk and restaurant service to all exceed expectations. It is not an opulent Marriott as some are, but when compared to other hotels in the area, this hotel is much nicer. As Marriott Bonvoy members, upgrades to king corner, upper floor; complimentary breakfast, free parking and wifi removed the a la cart fee issues. We stayed a week while visiting our children attending college in Boston and new grandbaby. There are malls, shopping and good restaurants near. The exercise room is better than most. The pool is clean and heated, but outdoor temperatures of 10 degrees made it a little cool. You can choose this location without concerns. It offers a great value at half the price of downtown options.

Me and my bestie decided to book for NYE to relax swim and just hang . Main booking being there’s a pool , except the pool was FREEZING and had plenty of questionable icks floating around NOT TO TAKE AWAY FROM THE SWEETEST MOST FRIENDLY MAN they had standing at the entrance of the pool (seriously what a doll) . Pretty disappointing , so we figured asked the front desk if they can heat it up (front desk said we will let them know) so we decided to book a second night since the beds really are comfy . Food at the place in the hotel / room service whatever kinda crazy prices but it’s a hotel whatever we just ordered elsewhere . Second day pool still just as cold and ick so ended up in the room the whole day / night . Room was fine , bathroom shower had ZERO and i mean zero water pressure . Not the worst time but for sure wish it had been better . 1000/10 on beds being super comfy ?????

Hotel was very nice and staff was great. However, they were hosting several kids events and it was a zoo. Kids everywhere without parents and they played hockey in the hallways and set off alarms. Absolutely worth staying here but know what they are hosting prior to booking. Lesson learned.

I booked a hotel room for one night in person last minute and was helped immediately and got to my room nice and quick. Very nice stay but the people who work night shifts are extremely rude and lied straight to my face. I told the front desk that i wanted to book another stay when i come back that night on December 20th, front desk told me to check back in at 6:45 in the morning and also told me i can wait in the lobby until then because they apparently spoke to management about it and said it was fine. I come back at night at 7:33pm on december 20th and reclarify why i will be waiting in the lobby until the morning in which they said it was fine because i told them that i spoke to management that morning and proceeded to wait patiently to check back in the morning. Afterwards around 1230 am or so there is a shift change and the late night shift comes in and sees me in the lobby and suspects me of loitering. Two larger gentlemen who are security lie to me and tell me theres a fraudulent charge which is a lie because i spent $300 of my hard earned money for a booking for last night. They proceed tell me i can't book there anymore because corporate said so. I asked nicely to speak to the manager and corporate they said no, i asked nicely to speak to the lady in the front desk who accused me of loitering and they said no. They were very rude and lied to me i will never book here again if your employee's are liars and people who dont know what are talking about. The marriot is a nice place to stay but the people who work night shift are not. I would rather book somewhere else

The hotel lobby looks quite fancy, and that’s about it for this hotel.. Once you reach the elevator and the Rooms floor, you can immediately tell this hotel has seen better days.. The front desk associate is quite dismissive and inpatient. During check in, we were told that the lounge won’t be available until next month. The hotel pool on Sunday is closed as early as 4 PM and won’t be open until noon of the following day. Later when we requested a comforter, after waited for like half an hour, they gave us a blanket, as thin as shower towel. The shower is literally falling apart.. This is by far the worst Marriott experience I ever had, as a platinum member. The hotel has a giant parking lot, with no guard or any security present, they still charge you $20 to park. Highly NOT recommend it, if you are looking for something luxurious and special.

I have stayed at this hotel for over 40 days this year alone and as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum elite member I have always had the best experience and the staff has always been amazing until tonight. When I came through the door I was greeted by Frankie and Juan, no one has never given me service with a smile before, but tonight meeting Frankie for the very first time he was very rude and dismissive, and when there was a simple misunderstanding in my reservation, he dismissed me and just told me that I could not stay when I told him that I was a platinum elite member of Marriott and had stayed at this hotel for over 40 times this year alone he just shook his head and said that like it didn’t matter so when I asked to speak to the manager, then come Aldo To rescue the situation as always, the manager Aldo was amazing Service with a smile quick apologize and explain to me that my special rate had to be changed and it was gonna cost $12 more which was not a problem to begin with if Frankie had took the time to explain exactly what the manager Aldo explained. now I know Marriott pride themselves in exceptional customer service and this is the reason why I am a member and treating an elite member as myself the way that Frankie treated me tonight is just unacceptable.

This Marriott is good. Inside the chain standard. Our room and hotel is well maintained. Front desk people is OK…. The hotel is huge and they receive a lot of people…. I appreciate that they try to hurry to attend all as quick as possible. And update of prices as October 2025 Internet : If you are Bonvoy member is free…. otherwise they charge $12.95 per room per night. Parking : $20 per night Breakfast buffet $25.99 Your key room is needed to open the garage and the use the 4 fast elevators. Rooms have a mini fridge. We miss the security safe box and the microwave…. 5 minutes from here there is a star super market where you can get what you need if you are going to be in an event here for 2 days. There is also a shopping mall 9 minutes away with Target.

Grounds, common areas & my room was very clean. My double queen was spacious, well lit & the bed was extremely comfortable... I slept great during my four nights stay. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Nice pool & gym. The on-site restaurant, Hull & Mason was consistently delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m quite sure that the blueberry pancakes were the best I’ve ever had, highly recommend. Only 2 cons: showerhead did not allow the maximum water pressure & $20 for parking per day in an area that is not in high demand or in an airport location is slightly ridiculous. Overall, I was happy with my stay. I recommend this location and will stay again when I’m in the area.
