The Marriott Courtyard Boston Logan Airport offers a generally positive experience, particularly highlighted by friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and convenient shuttle service to the airport. However, recent reviews indicate recurring issues with the on-site restaurant, outdated facilities, and potential pest problems.
Great Staff, But the Restaurant Needs Work | May 15, 2026 Overall, my stay at the Courtyard Marriott has been a positive experience, and I want to give credit where it’s due. Front Desk — The front desk team has been consistently professional, friendly, and responsive. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were handled promptly and with a genuine smile. This is exactly what you expect from a Marriott property, and they delivered. Housekeeping — Room cleanliness has been excellent. Housekeeping is thorough, timely, and clearly takes pride in their work. No complaints whatsoever. One area that needs significant attention — the on-site restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience there on the evening of May 15th was the opposite of the hospitality the rest of this hotel demonstrates. After being unable to reach anyone by phone, I came in person to place a simple to-go order and stood in the greeting area for 15 minutes without being acknowledged once — despite staff walking right past me. I eventually left without being helped. It’s a shame, because the hotel itself sets a good standard. The restaurant staff would benefit from basic guest acknowledgment training to match the level of service the rest of the property provides.
We had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Hotel. The view was absolutely amazing, and the overall stay was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and very relaxing. The hotel also provides shuttle bus service to and from the airport, which was very convenient. In addition, every staff member we encountered was incredibly nice and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would definitely highly recommend this hotel to others.
Really like the hotel, the location to the city however they need a larger parking lot. I stayed here a few years back and they didn't charge for parking however it's now $30 however I found myself parking outside of the designated parking areas and didn't feel as though the car was in a safe location. The folks inside didn't give me any hassle so that let me know it's normal. Want to end on a positive note, the staff worked to accommodate a really early check in and the restaurant is nice as well. I will stay here again but wanted to share for others, don't be surprised about the lack of parking.
I stayed here prior to an international trip. They have 24 hour shuttle service to the airport. The room was clean with nice bedding. Looks like it’s been updated lately. They have free coffee and tea in the morning and flavored water is during the day. The staff is extremely nice and I would definitely return Stayed in room 1006. I was pleasantly surprised that I could see partial views of Boston local airport with planes departing and starting their takeoff. Rooms 1006-1020 ( even#’s) we’ll all have this view. I think perhaps the ninth floor might have a good for you and certainly 11 and 12 would also in the A Tower!
The food at the Hotel Restaurant is absolutely delicious. Especially the fried chicken (we ordered twice) and loaded nachos! The service is incredible too. Our waiter Debby was super proactive and kind. She helped us with an order of chicken we thought tasted off, she brought us back a newly cooked chicken. Great atmosphere, food, and service. We loved the clam chowder too.
Fantastic people work here! Very helpful too- I thought I’d have to catch the rental car shuttle to the airport to catch the shuttle for the hotel, but they picked me up at the rental car center- super easy with well marked vehicle. The lobby is clean and open - the restaurant is just a few steps from there and is GREAT! I had a Caesar salad with lobster and it was fantastic! Denise took great care of everyone. The room was nice- and clean. I had an issue in my particular room with the sink but they quickly offered to make it right. The shuttle runs overnight, so it was an early but easy morning to get to the airport. I’d stay here again- location, people, and price all great.
Not a great visit to say the least. Hotel appeared fine and seemed clean until me and my friends returned home and realized we had been bitten by bed bugs. Each of us had up to 15 tiny red bites that were incredibly itchy. Once we sent pictures of our bites to hotel regarding the situation, they tried saying it was a mosquito bite or a flea as if I don’t know the difference. Seems to me that they fail to take accountability for their dirty and filthy bug infested sheets. After they told me that it wasn’t bed bugs, they said they had a professional pest control team come out to the room to test for the bugs and they even went as far to say they couldn’t find any “evidence” of bed bugs. Since, it was clear we did not believe that there was “no evidence” hence the bites all over our arms and legs, we sent a follow up email requesting a copy of the pest control report. As a result, the hotel stopped contacting me and cut all communication!! Is this a way to treat your paying customers? I think not. Will never be back. We only wish the next hotel guests get a clean room without any bed bugs involved.
The food that the restaraunt is so good. I have stayed here at least 4 times. They have a black and blue burger that is awesome. I wish the food at my local comfort Inn in Spokane was good. The ladies that run the bar and restaurant have been here every time that I come and they are so fun and so nice and so helpful . Woman at the front desk with the super long nails is so great and friendly. Airport Shuttle picks you up at the airport or the rental car center and the bus drivers are super nice. everyone seems to be enjoying their work
Waited at least an hour for shuttle at airport, tried three different numbers to get it to pick me up but no one would answer. Finally got the front desk at the hotel who said they were sending it right away (it is a 1 mile drive) and it took another 30+ minutes to arrive. Hotel is extremely dated; nothing has been renovated since the 1980s. Everything worn down and carpets dirty. Elevators broken and the one that works takes all day. Room smells strongly like body odor and cheap air freshener. No amenities, like a motel. "Business center" appears to be two old computers hooked up to an ink jet printer. I cannot believe I paid $250/night for this. I have no idea how they have any stars at all- they must certainly be fake paid reviews.
We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott - Logan Airport for a long weekend in late October. Pros: Friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Restaurant, fitness room, and Mini Market available on site. Shuttle to and from Logan Airport was excellent. Restaurant food was great. Cons: Bathtub had little to no adhesives. Very dangerous. One of the two elevators was out of order. Apparently it's been out of service for months. Long wait times. Restaurant service was poor. Glasses were empty, couldn't get our check, and they seemed to be hurrying us out even when the place was near empty. One night we came home and maid service was forgotten. Housekeeping did not speak English so we had a difficult time explaining our room had no soap. All communication must be done through reception staff. Neutral but keep in mind: Rooms are small, but we were there primarily to visit family and do some light touring so it didn't matter. East Boston is not near much. No nearby shopping or sites. Taxis are expensive from that location.
