Copley House offers a centrally located stay in Boston's Back Bay, praised for its convenient location and friendly staff. Reviews consistently highlight the property's cleanliness and accessibility to major attractions, though some guests experienced noise issues and limited amenities. Overall, it’s a popular choice for travelers seeking value and a convenient base for exploring the city.
Everything about my stay was perfect. The room was so clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The people that worked at the desk in the office were so helpful and nice. Great location to see anything you wanna see in Boston
Great, spacious room! Excellent value for a Boston hotel. Location was great too (I stayed in building 233) with a lot of great food and entertainment options within a 5 - 15 minute walk. It was very clean and well-stocked. Reception was always quick to answer and very friendly when I needed assistance. I would definitely stay here again!
Lovely, quiet place with very helpful staff in Back Bay.......possibly the most comfortable we've ever been in an American hotel. It's simple, but doesn't have the claustrophobic, hermetically sealed feel of major chains, nor does it have the big chain's taste for bad lighting and awful furniture.......everything here is thoughtful and just does what it needs to do. We'd love to stay here again.
I’m pleased to say that the Copley house was a great stay. The location was great! I was be able to get to all the local attractions within walking distance. The local subways and buses were also very close to travel anywhere else in Boston if you wanted. The room itself was very clean and well kept but keep in mind that the rooms on the lower levels like mine was, did not have great internet connection but the front desk helped me getting a proper connection. My only complaint is the noise…unfortunately I had some very noisy guest on the floors above mine. The walls are thin so you hear a lot sometimes. Some of guest on the upper floors sounded like they had a large family/kids because there was constant stomping/running going on throughout the day that was not from housekeeping alone. However, I know that the hotel can’t control what the guest and I’m not blaming them. It’s the only reason I gave it 4 start instead of the full five. Overall it was a wonderful stay that I would stay there again!
We stayed in a one-bedroom suite at 233 Newton, two doors down from the bobby. The suite is quite small but cozy — the bed basically fills the bedroom, and you can’t walk from one side of the bed to the other without going through the living room. The kitchen is compact and not really designed for serious cooking. There’s also limited storage space for luggage or even hanging winter coats. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to Prudential Center, Copley Square, Newbury Street, and many great restaurants. It’s also about 10 minutes to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Back Bay Station. For a February visit with below-freezing temperatures and snow, it really couldn’t have been more convenient.
The absolute best. My adult daughter & I had to make last minute plan to stay in Boston (secondary to big snowstorm) and were lucky enough to find Copley House. The arrival process was easy—the admin staff were friendly & professional—felt totally safe— room & bathroom were perfectly clean. Bed was super comfortable. Have only excellent things to say about our stay!
Beautiful brownstone buildings, my bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you could need. I booked late in a snowstorm and they were very helpful with self-check in directions and were generous enough to allow for a late check out. Location couldn't be better. Would definitely return!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Perfect for traveling solo. Price is also well within reason considering how nice it is and the neighborhood. Location perfect. Only 10mins from airport. Super convenient and easy after hours self check in (my flight didn’t arrive until 1am). Staff are super responsive and super helpful. They make the stay 10x more enjoyable. This is definitely where I will be staying every time I come to Boston.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Copley House. It was a very quiet location in a beautiful neighborhood. The young man at check in was super nice and informative. The only recommendation I would make to the proprietor is to add some softer pillows. If you like a firm pillow you are in luck, but if not make sure you bring your own which luckily we did. We would absolutely stay here again when we visit Boston.
I have stayed here on several occasions. The location can’t be beat, it’s wonderful. The staff also is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean. It would be nice if there were local regular TV stations instead of only streaming options. Boston is one of my favorite cities and getting the local news and sports is important.
