Copley House receives generally positive feedback, highlighting its excellent location, cleanliness, and comfortable rooms. Guests appreciate the convenience of nearby amenities and the helpfulness of the staff. While some concerns relate to potential noise and limited storage, the overall experience is considered favorable.
What a great stay! Communication on point. Very clean and cozy apartment. Great location. Having little kitchen allowed us to save a little on eating out all the time. Whole Foods store is just a few minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was as advertised. Very clean and updated. Location was ideal. Found the hallway to be off putting. It was warm and the stairs were uneven and loud. The room itself had very little sound proofing. Could hear the neighbors and people walking up the stairs. Could have used conditioner in the shower. Overall though very nice place
Super cute location, walkable to subway stop nearby or even popular sites around Boston. The room was clean and comfortable. We were sent clear check in instructions early morning the day of check in and overall it was a really easy process. We were planning to drop off our bags at the front desk since we were arriving in the morning but they even had our room ready early which was a nice surprise.
We enjoyed our stay, our room was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The location was very accessible for Uber pick up. The only things that might be helpful to have would be some information on what is available in walking distance to the site; grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and maybe parks and other sites of interest. Also a guide to use the TV, what is available without having a subscription for services. We were very pleased with Copley House, and we would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Boston.
The location was great! Within walking distance or a short trip with a ride share app. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. I was on the first floor and it can get a little noisy with the upper levels/neighbors. I would keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper like me. I recommend traveling with earplugs, headphones, or sound machine to block out the noises. Overall, I really loved my stay and the communication with the staff was wonderful. They are great at keeping you updated and are available for any questions. I highly recommend this location and will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting Boston in the future.
Everything about my stay was perfect. The room was so clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The people that worked at the desk in the office were so helpful and nice. Great location to see anything you wanna see in Boston
Great, spacious room! Excellent value for a Boston hotel. Location was great too (I stayed in building 233) with a lot of great food and entertainment options within a 5 - 15 minute walk. It was very clean and well-stocked. Reception was always quick to answer and very friendly when I needed assistance. I would definitely stay here again!
Lovely, quiet place with very helpful staff in Back Bay.......possibly the most comfortable we've ever been in an American hotel. It's simple, but doesn't have the claustrophobic, hermetically sealed feel of major chains, nor does it have the big chain's taste for bad lighting and awful furniture.......everything here is thoughtful and just does what it needs to do. We'd love to stay here again.
I’m pleased to say that the Copley house was a great stay. The location was great! I was be able to get to all the local attractions within walking distance. The local subways and buses were also very close to travel anywhere else in Boston if you wanted. The room itself was very clean and well kept but keep in mind that the rooms on the lower levels like mine was, did not have great internet connection but the front desk helped me getting a proper connection. My only complaint is the noise…unfortunately I had some very noisy guest on the floors above mine. The walls are thin so you hear a lot sometimes. Some of guest on the upper floors sounded like they had a large family/kids because there was constant stomping/running going on throughout the day that was not from housekeeping alone. However, I know that the hotel can’t control what the guest and I’m not blaming them. It’s the only reason I gave it 4 start instead of the full five. Overall it was a wonderful stay that I would stay there again!
We stayed in a one-bedroom suite at 233 Newton, two doors down from the bobby. The suite is quite small but cozy — the bed basically fills the bedroom, and you can’t walk from one side of the bed to the other without going through the living room. The kitchen is compact and not really designed for serious cooking. There’s also limited storage space for luggage or even hanging winter coats. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to Prudential Center, Copley Square, Newbury Street, and many great restaurants. It’s also about 10 minutes to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Back Bay Station. For a February visit with below-freezing temperatures and snow, it really couldn’t have been more convenient.
