Positioned in Boston's vibrant Seaport District, this eco-certified hotel offers prime access to downtown attractions and waterfront experiences. Guests enjoy convenient proximity to key Boston landmarks within walking distance.
The Seaport Hotel consistently receives positive reviews, praised for its excellent service, convenient location, and luxurious amenities. Guests frequently highlight the friendly and attentive staff, particularly at the valet and front desk, as well as the comfortable rooms and convenient access to the waterfront. However, some guests have reported issues with noise levels and inconsistent service.
I originally posted an angry review with 2/5 stars due to reserving a king size room and being placed in a two bed, but this morning I went back to the front and they not only moved me to a king, but also thoughtfully explained what the original issue was with why I was not reserved the room the first night. I admit that I did not understand the nature of the reservation of king sized rooms and now that I understand, I am changing my review to reflect the service that I was provided. The staff were kind and responsive to my frustrations and I appreciate their willingness to work with me. Thank you front desk at Seaport, and thank you to the valet team because they're always on point.
What a lovely hotel! We came from another hotel, in Copley, that was not great. The Seaport Hotel welcomed us with incredible warmth and beautiful smiles. Our room was very clean with a gorge view of the harbor! Visited the pool and gym, both are acceptable. The pool area is a little bit cramped, but plenty of water for a few laps. The gym is well stocked and very clean! Above and beyond is the staff, shout out to Steve the valet, he was a sight for sore eyes, with a very gracious welcome! We will definitely stay here again, the area is unbeatable!
You can't beat the service! My boyfriend & I went for Valentine's weekend this year, to the Snowport in the winter, and for a weekend in the fall and the staff have recognized us and treated us with kindness each time we've returned. Valet is always quick and efficient. We had a line of 20+ people when checking in yesterday and the line went so quick despite only two ladies working the front desk. The restaurant inside is great! My son loved the pool.
I always have such a wonderful stay at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The atmosphere is incredibly comforting, clean, and elegant—perfect whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. The amenities are luxurious, and having a restaurant inside the hotel makes everything so convenient. The staff is consistently professional and welcoming, which truly elevates the entire experience. This hotel never disappoints and always feels like a home away from home.
The Seaport Hotel was an absolutely beautiful place to celebrate my significant other’s birthday. The room was elegant and comfortable, the gym was top-tier, and the staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. We truly felt well taken care of during our stay. While we did have very lively neighbors clearly enjoying themselves, that is when we noticed the walls were a bit thin. It didn’t take away from our overall experience. Despite that, we loved our stay and would happily return.
Stayed at the Seaport Hotel Boston and had a great experience overall. The location is perfect — walkable, safe, and close to great restaurants and the waterfront. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff was professional and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Everything felt well run and polished without being stuffy. Would definitely stay here again when I’m in Boston.
Hotel itself was pretty and clean. Room was basic but clean! However, when I asked for two additional pillows and a comforter the front desk reaction was dismissive and rude. I am here with my husband and child so two additional pillows for 3 of us didn’t seem outrageous nor did a comforter considering there is a sheet, decorative blanket that is 1/4 the size of the bed and the blanket in the closet is lighter than a fleece shirt. Basic but clean. Would return if there were no other comparable option / availability in the future.
I am beyond angry and disgusted with how the Seaport Hotel handled a deeply sentimental and valuable item of mine. The way I was treated as a guest was careless, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. On September 22, my boyfriend personally left my earrings at the front desk (I had left before him), clearly labeled with my name and Room 625, and was told they would be placed in lost and found so I could retrieve them. These were not just earrings — they were $500 and belonged to my grandmother in Ireland, making them irreplaceable. When I went to the hotel in November, I spoke with Alex at the front desk and waited for almost an hour while he repeatedly went back and forth trying to locate them. I was told they were not in lost and found and were likely in a safe because they were considered a “high-ticket item.” I was told managers were in a meeting and that I would receive a call once they were available. That call never came. After weeks of follow-ups, a female manager finally told me in mid-December that the earrings had been donated after 30 days. I was HORRIFIED. When I later spoke with the head manager, he contradicted this and said high-ticket items are donated after 90 days, and even agreed that $500 qualifies as high-ticket. Yet somehow, my earrings were still donated well before that timeframe. When I asked who determines what is “high-ticket,” I was told it’s simply a judgment call and that no professional evaluation or jeweler review is done. This lack of policy, accountability, and basic competence is shocking for a hotel that presents itself as high-end. What made this even worse was the attitude of the staff. I was met with indifference, excuses, and a complete lack of empathy at every step. If this is how the Seaport Hotel treats guests who trusted them with personal belongings, then the standards here are far lower than advertised. I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and disrespected. This was not a minor inconvenience — it was a devastating loss caused by poor procedures and worse customer service. I am now pursuing this matter further, including filing a police report and consulting legal counsel. A hotel of this caliber should do far better. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn guests: do not trust this hotel to safeguard your belongings or treat you with care.
Excellent experience from beginning to end- I wish I got the names of the staff who we interacted with. Check in was super easy and quick- the man who helped us get settled was so friendly and had excellent customer service skills. The valet and gentlemen who helped us with bags was great- super friendly. Restaurant was solid for dinner and breakfast was great the next day. We didn’t require cleaning service because we only spent 1 night but our room was clean and we had a great view! We stayed 12/26-27
Can definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were excellent and really went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. They followed my special quiet room request exactly, which I appreciated. Everyone I interacted with throughout the hotel was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, the bathroom was modern and well-kept, and the view was fantastic — especially at night. Great experience overall.
