The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor offers a convenient and comfortable stay near Logan Airport, boasting stunning harbor views and easy access to downtown Boston via shuttle and water taxi. Recent reviews highlight excellent service, a pleasant atmosphere, and impressive amenities, particularly the complimentary clam chowder and airport shuttle service. However, some guests have noted concerns regarding dated public areas and inconsistent shuttle reliability.
Stunning view of Boston, especially around sunset! Next to the airport hotel yet you can barely hear the airplanes. Stayed here for a conference and quite enjoyed the experience.
Comfortable hotel near airport overlooking the Boston Harbor. Many wonderful amenities and excellent tasty food- open for breakfast and dinner. With the resort fee - they include a cup of clam chowder for dinner, $10 off dinner each night, airport shuttle twice an hour, two bottles of water and much more. The hotel is located adjacent to the airport and harbor ferry.
Very clean and well-run Hyatt Regency. Great location if you want to be by the airport, but it’s a taxi ride into the city. The harborside rooms have outstanding views of the Boston skyline and the bay. I often stay at this hotel when flying into Boston late at night and driving on to other New England locations the next day. There is a free shuttle to the hotel from the airport, and the rental center for Logan Airport is within easy walking distance of the hotel.
The view is beyond amazing, front row seats to Boston’s skyline! The hotel is elegant and chic, with nautical style! The bar, the restaurant both also faces the water so you get specular views when you having breakfast, lunch, dinner or having a drink at the bar! I HIGHLY recommend this stay whenever you’re in Boston! Won’t disappoint! I had the pleasure of having breakfast which the dining/ breakfast area is positioned in the center of the beautiful water and city views! The entire dining area is beautiful! They provide a breakfast buffet that did not disappoint and their staff were really attentive the entire time. You can also order à la carte. Once you’re done eating, you can simply walk out the glass doors unto the riverwalk to enjoy a nice stroll with amazing views!
Lovely hotel. Comfortable rooms with beautiful views. The restaurant was the only area I found off putting. There are only two items available for breakfast. An American breakfast with eggs or fruit. Kind of strange. When I asked if I could just get toast I was told the American breakfast comes with toast just get that. When I explained I don’t eat eggs or the sausage I got a heavy sigh and eye roll and told fine I’ll ask. Really? I think for the prices paid a better breakfast option - ala cart options for guests who don’t want a heavy meal be available.
It serves its purpose 100%. An airport hotel that accommodates all the needs of the travellers. Cannot be closer to the airport with great views of the city skyline. Comfortable rooms. Very very helpful and polite staff. Impressed. Food at night was surprisingly good. In the morning it needs work. Also a bit more work in cleanliness required. However thoroughly recommended. Will use again for night lay over.
I was given a late check out upon request, however, the cleaning lady came banging on my door around noon yelling. She said that the system said I did not have a laye check out. When I told her that it was not sure, she then called the front office to verify and put it on speaker. After the front desk verified that I did have a late check out, the lady did not apologize at all for her behavior and her mistake. Outside of that the atmosphere, other Staff, and rooms were great.
The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor offers an excellent stay with stunning views of the harbor and the Boston skyline. The hotel is clean, modern, and very well maintained, with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. One of the biggest advantages is its location right beside the airport, along with the convenient shuttle service to and from the terminals, which makes travel incredibly easy. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel feels peaceful and relaxing. The waterfront setting and ferry access to downtown are great added bonuses, making this a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.
Nice spot for an airport stay or a visit to the city. We received free cups of clam chowder, $10 off dinner and an upgrade to a harbor view upon arrival. The chowder and the cauliflower appetizer were both really good. We also go the buffalo chicken pizza and wished it had more buffalo sauce since it was hardly noticeable. The view from our room was terrific! So fun to see the harbor and the skyline. Would definitely stay here again.
This property is a good choice if you would like easy proximity to the airport and views toward the city across the harbor. The staff is consistently kind and a real asset to the property. Unfortunately I am seeing signs that the property needs a refresh. I did reach out to the GM about this but did not receive a response so am now sharing concerns in this review. The public area carpets are showing very visible signs of needing to be replaced, the small sofas in the elevator area are both cheap and shabby and the lighting in the bathrooms is extremely poor. All of these items are rather inexpensive to fix but evidently there isn’t investment being made in the property. The Hilton nearby is a competitive property. I haven’t found the staff to be nearly as nice but the property does seem to be maintained to a better level than the Hyatt. I suggest considering it for a similar stay near the airport.
