Location is beautiful! Steps away from the Charles. Perfect for a morning walk/ run. Hotel rooms were clean! Very up to date, with consumer needs in mind. I loved that there was a motion sensor light under the bed, so when you got up in the middle of the night, you could see where you were walking. We had a beautiful balcony with a great view of the Charles for only $200

Rooms were nice. Location is good for Cambridge, but pretty much need to Uber into Boston. Have to cross the river. Had 4 people checked in, kept getting shorted on washcloths though. Had to call every day to ask for more washcloths. Nice ambiance. Not far from anything, but just enough to need a ride.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was perfect for exploring both Cambridge and Boston, with easy access to public transportation and many nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. One of the best perks was the complimentary shuttle service around the Cambridge area, which made getting around much easier. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel does not offer an airport shuttle. During peak hours, Uber rides to and from Logan Airport can cost $50 or more, so it's something to factor into your travel budget. Overall, we had a great experience, and it was an excellent choice for our family. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Boston!

Pretty cool hotel inside and out. The inside is open, so everywhere you walk down the hall, you can see down into the lobby. The elevators are glass, so and attached to the wall so you can see them go up and down. Service was wonderful. Everyone I ran into was very nice and pleasant and helpful. The only thing I don’t like is the tight parking deck spaces, but on the very top level, they are wider so I parked there. I opted for self park, which is $10 cheaper per night. Nice place, would return for sites

Stayed for the World Cup hence the high $600 a night fee. The good: location was excellent, it’s safe, short walk from stores Cambridge and a beautiful running/walking route on the Charles river/esplande. It also has a pretty cool glass elevator and excellent gym facilities. And for the premium room the view is great. The bad: it’s very old and tired. We paid extra for a nicer room and view. We liked the size but it’s really dated, ceiling was peeling and worse wasn’t very sound proof. Our room shaked and noise wasn’t stopped during a wedding party upstairs so we couldn’t sleep. Not a great experience paying $600 a night and we were offered zero compensation, not even breakfast. Personally I expect a good night sleep as my #1 requirement for a hotel, so to pay several thousand dollars for a few days in a hotel and not have that is ridiculous, hence I can’t give more than 3* despite the rest of the hotel being satisfactory.

We booked a riverview room with two double beds for 4 nights (Friday to Monday) that put me and my 2 siblings in Boston for the start of 2026 FIFA, and the Boston Red Sox vs Texas Rangers series. Service was excellent: - early check-in was offered when we arrived from our fligths at 10:00 am (normal check-in is 4pm) - housekeeping kept the room (plus waste & recycle bins) clean, beds made, and towels changed when requested - counter staff at the lobby cafe were always quick & courteous - hotel lobby restaurant staff provided good greeting and table service Room pros: - great day & night riverviews from our 9th floor room - good blackout curtains - digital thermostat that is easy to operate, and maintined room temperature as we set it - in-room Keurig machine (coffee, decaf, tea pods were available), mini bar fridge (not-stocked), safe, luggage rack, coat hangers, shampoo/conditioner/liquid bath soap/lotion/small bar of hand soap, spare blanket throw - two bottles of water for our first day - on our floor: ice machine with water dispenser Room cons: - our room did not have a full length dressing mirror (I ended up using the large full length mirror at the floor's elevator lobby) - the only mirror is the bathroom one (large wall to wall, but is not tall enough for dressing) - not enough hooks in bathroom or near closet Food/beverage pros: - morning pastries in the lobby cafe included freshly baked flaky croissants; the breakfast sandwich was filling - good selection of hot teas & coffees, and cold beverages in the cooler display (on one day there were no diet colas; on another day, there were diet Pepsi and diet Mountain Dew) - the vegetarian flatbread was freshly baked and delicious - lobby cafe seating is in the airy space of the full height atrium, and had a 4-screen tv Food/beverage cons: - for one evening, I had dinner in the hotel restaurant, Paperback Tavern, and ordered the fish and chips, which I could not finish - the chips had a texture like they were deep fried twice; the fish batter tasted like it was deep fried in not-so-fresh fry oil - I ended up cutting the batter off the fish to have just the fish, and left the fries behind The location is an easy uber ride to all our destinations in Boston and Cambrdige. I would stay here again, get coffee and small bites from the lobby cafe, but not eat in the Paperback Tavern restaurant.

I’ve never seen such a clean hotel room. We had a beautiful view of the river and the city. The fitness room is very well equipped. I agree with other reviews that the parking fees are outa sight. We parked offsite and walked.

Really good hotel, the beds were very comfortable and soft. We got a free upgrade to a balcony room, and the balcony was MASSIVE and had the most stunning view ever!! The location is incredible as well, you are right next to MIT and BU, which has great access to the rest of Boston and Harvard area. They unfortunately do not have free breakfast for everyone, but you can buy breakfast and they have a nice restaurant as well. The staff was very nice.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was comfortable and well?appointed, though it did show a bit of wear and tear in places. Nothing major, but noticeable enough to keep it from feeling completely fresh. The real standout of the stay was the breakfast. You can genuinely taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the quality sets it apart from typical hotel offerings. It became something I looked forward to each morning. Staff members were consistently polite, attentive, and warm, which added to the positive atmosphere throughout the hotel. A solid four?star stay, and I’d happily return—especially for that breakfast.

Decent rooms but probably wouldn’t stay here again. Given a room right outside a noisy elevator, manger reassigned us and offered to comp our breakfast the next morning. Front desk had no record of same. Also, front desk person insisted on charging for the room even though it was prepaid on Hotels.com and we showed her a record of same. We had to get another manager to resolve this. Restaurant food was fair at best.
