The facility is nice, but the professional standards are basement-level. Some staff are just fine, but others are too comfortable giving lip service over the phone (Linda), ignoring noise complaints and requests for hotel supplies, huffing and puffing immediately when they answer the phone or giving you radio silence so that you have to speak first, and responding to accountability with anger. When I reported an instance of rudeness by one of the cleaning staff to the manager, Tracy, she immediately dismissed it as a cultural difference—insinuating I was simply misperceiving a staff member's communication style because of an accent. Tracy wasn't even there to witness the interaction, yet she used 'culture' as a shield to excuse blatant unprofessionalism. When I spoke to Tracy again today (April 7th) about these ongoing issues, she said she would 'get her employees' side of the story', that it was her 'first time hearing about it’ (because she isn’t watching), and that she’d follow up with me later. She didn’t even bother to ask for my name or room number. Unless she’s relying on staff to identify my face, she has no way to actually follow up. This is a systemic failure of leadership; 'lip service' is the standard operating procedure. I’ve been here for over a month due displacement and have ended up cleaning my own room each day and buying my own hotel supplies just to avoid the hassle of dealing with this management. When I finally called about constant furniture-dragging noise from above since I moved in, I received zero follow-up despite being promised it by Linda, and the complaint was not logged into the computer system when I followed up the next day. Seriously, what are the front desk computers even for? It is exhausting to be treated like a nuisance for expecting the basic services I paid for. Blaming rudeness on ‘cultural differences’ doesn’t explain it; it exposes a total failure of oversight. Don’t even bother with your, “We would like to look into this further, would you mind contacting us at…” generic response- it’s just more lip service. I'm guessing the next 5+ reviews after mine will be aggressively positive so that my review looks like I'm crazy. And for the record: I am still currently a guest here, so there is no excuse for management to claim they 'have no record' of this stay. I am right here and ready for actual follow-up, not more lip service.

We stayed here for an appointment we had at Boston Children's. The staff were SO helpful and responsive. Will definitely be coming back next year!

I'm still here been here for two weeks today and so far I have been treated good. Meaning all I do is mind my business and clean up after myself because I was told by the people who put me here due to a mishap of the building I live in.i would be here for a while and so far as a person with high if anyone else is like me they completely let me do my thing meaning there's nobody here over does it in any capacity if you know what I mean this is for people like me with my type of anxiety problems lol they've been really good so far I believe I have at least one more week I believe hopefully

If you need to check in or pull up front for ANY reason, this hotel has maybe the worst location around. It's been 10 days since the big snowstorm and they have just a little slot cleared out front. I was picking someone up and immediately I get greeted by hotel staff ordering me to move as the shuttle bus parks there. The entire curb besides that nook was just big snowbanks. I ask if maybe she's seen a couple not waiting for a shuttle. She won't even acknowledge my question, just ordering me to leave. So I want to comply, but I ask her quickly where can I park. She just says the same thing, ordering me to leave to make room for the shuttle. This location is AWFUL if you ever need to circle. It was the morning so traffic is nasty in the other direction, so circling will take 10 minutes. So I pull forward and double park until my client comes out. I get that you need to have the shuttle be the top priority. But the attitude was atrocious for someone who gave zero argument. I find it amazing you have this large hotel with a ton of curb space, yet you only clear out a tiny nook. Atrocious. Just complete lack of care for your surroundings...

Nice hotel in the Brookline area of Boston. Staff were friendly room was clean and was the bedroom apartment style. Breakfast was great. Onsite parking in an underground parking lot available, but expensive.

Good hotel, they help the guests a lot. We are very happy with the treatment with the cleanliness with everything. The staff, the cleaning staff, the manager and above all the people at the counter were very friendly and professional. If I go back to Boston I would try to stay in this hotel again. Thank you

We are staying here because it’s the contracted hotel with Dana Farber Cancer Institute. We cancer patients and caregivers have been dealing with enough, and we don’t need more stress and burden added. I have been trying to reach the manager for days now, they always say that he will call me back or to call back tomorrow and he’s never available. All I want is to set a price for long term stay while we receive cancer treatment and bone marrow transplant. I don’t expect compassion or sympathy or anything like that but at least some understanding. The front desk is so unhelpful, I have never been greeted with a smile, customer service is non existent. The whole process of coming from out of state for critical medical treatment for our child has been exhausting and overwhelming, and Homewood Suites definitely doesn’t have the mind to help ease the process to cancer patients. Very sad and disappointing.

Had a great time here with our family. Lovely amenities, free breakfast, clean and spacious room. Was super comfortable and relaxing. Highlight was the indoor pool - my daughter had a blast swimming!
