I am giving 2 stars only for the kindness of the staff, especially the two gentlemen we interacted with: the man at the reception and the person in charge of the kitchen. They were polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The room was mediocre, the shower drain was clogged and the water did not drain properly. There was also an unpleasant smell of mold. Housekeeping did not come during our stay, and the breakfast was below average. The only real positive point might be the location, depending on your needs. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. Hotel to avoid.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful, which made our stay more enjoyable. However, the room could have been a bit cleaner and the noise from the hallway was somewhat distracting. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston/Cambridge-Arlington and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. First of all, the staff was absolutely outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their availability and genuine friendliness really made the stay special and created a very warm atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide variety of options. It’s generous, well stocked, and offers something for everyone a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the area. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped. Everything is designed for comfort and convenience, and the kitchenette is a real plus. The beds are extremely comfortable, with high-quality bedding that makes it easy to get a great night’s sleep. Another highlight is the location. It’s very convenient: there is a bus stop just steps from the hotel, and the subway is within reasonable walking distance, making it easy to reach downtown Boston and explore the city without needing a car. The hotel is also quiet, modern, and very well maintained, which adds to the overall relaxing experience. It’s an excellent option whether you’re visiting Boston for business or family travel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Boston/Cambridge area!

We had a great stay here with our kids and dog. Great location within walking distance to the cute town and not a bad drive into downtown Boston. Also loved the fact that the greenway path was right next door for a run or walk. The free breakfast was great too. It was the usual hot breakfast but they had dairy free options and waffle maker. The woman working the front desk the night we arrived (Feb 27) was very nice and helped me get a rollaway bed. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very comfortable hotel. The suites are spacious. Tge bathrooms have walk in showers and a decent sized sink counter. The kitchenette is suffering to prepare most anything that can be done with a microwave and a 2 burner stove. Full size refrigerator. A sofa that folds out to a queen sized bed. The beds are comfortable and there are a variety of pillows. The breakfast buffet has a reasonable number of options with eggs, various breakfast meats, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, breads, and at times waffles or pancakes. The 77 bus is readily accessible for going into Cambridge or further into Arlington. The stop at Porter Square gives access to the Red Line. You can continue on tge bus to Harvard Square. Down from the hotel towards Arlington center are a wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff are amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This goes for the managers, reception staff, and cleaning/service crews. The kitchen staff are attentive to the buffet and if you need something or something has run out they will respond quickly. Understand of course that some food needs or requests can not be fulfilled. That is normal. However, they will do what they can. Good internet service. Plenty of work areas for those needing informal meeting space. We have stayed at this location several times as we visit our son and his family who live near Harvard. I love this place, very comfortable rooms. The staff is above and beyond. Jeiling and Raphael are particularly awesome. My favorites for sure but everyone else on staff is equally awesome. Great breakfast. For me the location and the price are unbeatable. A lot in the area for food, etc. Short bus rides to public transportation. 10 / 10 every time.

We spent a week there, in the middle of a big winter storm, and everything was great. The service was good, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is excellent, very close to the Alewife station on the Red Line of the subway, and many public buses stop just a few feet from the hotel entrance. If you're traveling by car, the parking is also free and covered, so your car is protected from the weather.

Don’t get deceived by the official photos of interiors. Outdated facilities. Have to take 2 different elevators from garage to room levels. Small washbasin and small (and short) bed. Far poorer than other Homewood Suites. Unless it’s an emergency stay, don’t stay here.

Overall just fine, very spacious. The room and sheets smelled really weird and while everything looked clean, it smelled really stale and off. The AC/heat was crazy loud, it woke us up multiple times. Like a loud gas lawn mower level of noise.

Great location, Suites have everything you need, complimentary breakfast offered variety of choices. The staff were all wonderful especially Rafael who was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Parking in garage included with stay. We definitely will come back.
