The Home2 Suites by Hilton Boston South Bay offers comfortable accommodations with spacious rooms, kitchenettes, and convenient access to shopping and public transportation. Guests consistently praise the friendly staff and the hotel's location, particularly its proximity to restaurants and the T station. However, some reviews highlight inconsistencies in room maintenance and cleanliness.
Rooms are nice and big. Large comfy bed. Good shower. Kitchenette if needed. Access to laundry and drying machines if needed. Location is about a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest underground stop but also right on the edge of a large shopping district.
We had a lovely one-week stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great, and the staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating. When it was time to check out, they were incredibly understanding and helpful. My son, who had just been accepted to university, had some of his belongings still in the room, and the staff allowed us to carefully move them to his dorm without any issue. They also kindly let us have a late checkout so I could finish my work without feeling rushed. We are very grateful for their kindness and excellent service. Highly recommended!
The Home2Suites by Hilton Boston SouthBay made our stay fantastic. Especially the front desk manager Jevon went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience and stay. Family of 4 with two teen boys for context. Breakfast had very good variety and the highlight was the fresh waffle maker with all kinds of toppings. Coffee was also good for us adults. The boys enjoyed the fitness room that was exceptionally well equipped. The rooms were just perfect for a family of four. The kitchenette with huge fridge and microwave with full set of utensils just perfect. And two queen sized beds plus pull-out couchbed super comfy and brand new. We location was great with access to public transport (bus stop just 2mins. Away and metro at Andrew station approximately 10 min. walking distance. The shopping and restaurant availability at South Bay Park allowed us to choose all we desired. The stay here made our Boston weekend trip awesome.
Nice large rooms to accommodate 5 people. A small kitchenette area helped us prep a few small snacks or light meal. Near shopping and restaurants. Walkable distance to the subway about 10 minutes walk. Felt safe because the area had a large police presence.
comfy beds - even the sofa bed was decent. Quiet, clean room. We arrived late and slept late and didn't hear other occupants. Either they put us in a deserted section of the hotel, which was thoughtful, or the sound insulation is quite good. We didn't seem to be able to control the room temperature, but it was acceptable. The person at the front desk was pleasant and gracious despite me being a bit off my game at 1am.
Prices are high...quality is low. Overall, hotel is newer & location is great, but seems ill managed. Examples: Walked into room, and there was a big puddle coming out of the refrigerator (they fixed this soon). The mattress was absolutely terrible & horrendous with a big crater at the center. Woke up with neck and back aches. Brought this up to the front desk and they said all the rooms have similar mattresses and there's nothing they can do. Blanket is thin as a handkerchief. Check in cart is cheap as heck. Breakfast felt pretty cheap, not a lot of options. Asked for our room to be refreshed several times, and they said they only do this every 4 days. Nonetheless, they were nice enough to drop off some towels. Shower handle didn't work that great- hard to adjust temperature.
I booked 2 nights May 2-4, 2025 using points and cash. I have Hilton status. Incorrectly charged me for 2 nights when I was using points for one night. Hotel says my fault. I disagree. Don’t think I’d ever book here again
I had a great stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Boston South Bay. The room was spacious, modern, and came with a full kitchenette — perfect for longer stays or quick meals. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. The location is super convenient, with shops and restaurants just steps away, and the T station nearby made getting around Boston easy. One unexpected bonus was the free parking right across the street — a huge perk in a city where parking usually costs a fortune. Only reason it’s not five stars is the breakfast — it was okay, but could use a few more fresh options. Still, this hotel definitely delivers great value and comfort. I’d gladly stay here again
This hotel doesn’t have proper management! It sucks The staff is nasty , unprofessional, the front staff are like” I do t care “ attitude We stayed for 4 nights 2 rooms and our rooms never got cleaned even though we requested many times ! The answer was we don’t have enough housekeepers! Ahh and the price per room is super high ??? The laundry machines do not work well, only one washer and 2 dryers where working with extremely loud noises. The gym was filthy! And the so called breakfast was discussing… We DO NOT recommend this place at all … We ask for management several times and the staff acted like ummmmm ; we where giving a business card for the so called not present manager , called and called , left several messages and absolutely NO reply … Go somewhere else ! We don’t recommend this place at all
Good location and there are many restaurants and shops around this area, making it convenient. But, the room really can hear so many noises from entering to the room, especially midnight was car beeping and running on the road, which makes us really hard to fall asleep. And since their parking is sharing with the other hotels, we spent some time on finding an entry and parking our car. The parking fee is $25/night, a heads-up.
