The Revolution Hotel offers a unique and affordable experience in the heart of Boston, particularly appealing to budget-conscious travelers and those seeking a vibrant atmosphere. While rooms are compact and shared bathrooms are a feature, recent reviews highlight a consistently clean environment, friendly staff, and a convenient location.
This review is for the guy at the concierge that works night shifts on weekends. I am sad I didn’t get your name but you made the stay a lot better. The rooms are very small and the shower pressure and build is weird. but the beds are very comfy and and the view and decor is very good
Great location, clean rooms and shared bathrooms that are cleaned multiple times a day. Hotel is modern and has options for rooms with bunk beds and private rooms with shared baths - which help you get a great price and offers amazing value given you get to stay in the heart of Boston. The only downside was that the guy at the desk was pretty rude, I thought I’d have my head cut off for simply asking if there was a co-working space (Conspire, which I’d read about online). Maybe he was in a mood but we felt like we were walking on eggshells after that interaction, which is never fun. Everyone else was great and helpful - we would recommend staying here
Very good value for money and spotlessly clean. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back. It would be nice to make a hot drink in your room though. Don't be put off by the shared bathrooms, they are perfect for single traveller. Highly recommend.
The service was good and friendly. We mistakenly booked a room with the bathroom outside the room. The lady at the reception was very helpful; we paid for an upgrade and were able to get the last room with bathroom above the reception. She was kind enough to let us know that it was going to be noisy, and it was, since the bar is located right in front of the reception. The price for our room was very hight 420$ for one night in october. And it was really a super small room.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room shared a suite of bathrooms, which we were a little hesitant about, but they were GREAT. The staff kept them very clean, and provided everything you would need. The lobby has a welcoming atmosphere where we hung by the fire and enjoyed a rainy night in
This was a great hotel for a girls trip. The bunk beds were honestly super fun and nice for everyone to have our own space. The shared bathroom was cleaned frequently with lots of towels available. It’s a great location, a 10 minute walk to major areas and close to transit. Staff were lovely. I would recommend.
Customer service was on point! Although the bathroom wasn't in the room, they were across the hallway and very clean. No onsite parking, but several parking garages within a block or 2. Highly recommend!
Good location and great atmosphere. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and stocked. Drinking water was available with ice. The art throughout the facility was beautiful. Would stay again
Perfect spot for a rest after a show in Boston. I needed somewhere close to go after a show at The Wilbur and this place was just right for me. Warm, modern, quiet, and room was really dark (that's good) which let me get a great night sleep. Everything was clean too. Only thing is, I'd have loved if the coffee bar was open early than 8am. I'll definitely stay again.
The Revolution Hotel is a 3-star hotel located in the city of Boston, very close to the city center, a few blocks from the Public Garden. It offers first-class facilities, with small rooms, but really very comfortable and with everything you need. The attention to detail is really incredible, the service is very good and the human warmth makes one want to return. It really is a hotel I would return to if I had to visit Boston again.
