The Boston Harbor Hotel offers exceptional service, luxury amenities, and superb harbor views in a prime downtown location, consistently impressing guests with thoughtful personal touches. While the rooms feature beautiful decor, some guests noted the property could benefit from modern updates and soundproofing improvements.
Long weekend with my wife for work to Boston. First time visitors. It was cold and dreary but the hotel was fantastic. Great service, worked with us to get out ahead of the storm and were very accommodating to us the entire short visit. Would recommend.
Just finished a weekend getaway with a girlfriend at BHH and was so extremely impressed with the impeccable service. I booked a room via Chase Travel under The Edit catalog, so as a cardholder received some additional perks that the front desk was more than happy to oblige. We started our stay being able to check in early so we could freshen up before our afternoon tea reservation at their restaurant, which did not disappoint! We also received a complimentary upgrade to a larger double queen room with beautiful sitting area and amazing views of the harbor. After our tea service we arrived back to our room to find a delicious charcuterie board waiting for us. The Dark bar was an amazing ending to our day in Boston, with fantastic drinks and addictive food. We ended our trip being able to check out late, so we didn’t feel rushed and was able to sleep in and order room service for breakfast. We are both moms that needed a relaxing weekend of pampering and good libations and BHH went above and beyond!
Excellent five star hotel. Great bar and facilities. Friendly staff and concierge. Housekeeping and turn down service were especially well done. In-room breakfast checked all the expected boxes, fresh croissants and OJ. Rooms were very New England, go for harbor view. Also love the scent of the bath products. Would stay here again. Only minor complaint is I prefer a separate mini fridge for personal wine chilling. The mini fridge here is solely an electronic mini bar.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the Boston Harbor Hotel. The room service and small gestures from the housekeeping staff made our stay an exceptional experience. The restaurant, bar, and common spaces were quiet and relaxing. We look forward to returning in the future.
What a great stay my wife and I had celebrating our anniversary and ringing in the New Year! The hotel is very nice and the staff is very attentive. We enjoyed a cocktail in the Dark Bar which we can't wait to return to. Great vibe and service. We enjoyed the hotel lobby New Year's celebration and headed outside at 12 to watch the fireworks and celebrate the New Year. Great location close to the Seaport, North End and many Boston attractions. Looking forward to a return visit. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave.
I had an amazing stay here with my mom. I have an amex so I booked through the fine hotels program with those benefits and will definitely do so again. Everyone was super helpful, professional and courteous. They went above and beyond . Highly recommend. Great location too - easy to get around the harbor. We walked to dinner at Committee and music at The Black Rose. We took the T to the fine arts museum
Truly a 5 star experience! This is the service I expect from a luxury hotel, and so many unexpected thoughtful touches. Our room was ready with a wonderful crib with plushies and our baby was greeted downstairs with a toy. We also got complimentary cookies, water, chocolate bar, and baby toiletries. Room service was so fast and delicious, bed was comfy, and we had a wonderful view of the street. FYI if you have the amex platinum card you can enjoy a $45 pp breakfast credit, $100 property credit (that can be used for parking), 4pm checkout, plus the semi-annual hotel credit. Really nice perks! We had a wonderful stay with our 6 month old and would definitely come back for the service, views and thoughtful touches.
This hotel was a delight to stay in. Beautiful rooms (decor, space, views) and exceptional service. The convenient location makes it easy to enjoy the city and all it has to offer. A great representation of Boston!
We had our first staycation here (1 night stay) and overall it was a nice experience. We were upgraded to City view suite and we loved the view from the 15th floor. We could see the city as well as the harbor. The room was mostly comfortable and the only negative thing I can point to is the dated furniture, especially the seemingly old and lower quality sofas. We had breakfast in the on-site restaurant which was ok. My wife and I each got 45$ allowance for the breakfast through Amex Platinum. Except for the pancakes, the other dishes were ok and not very flavorful (salmon flatbread and 3-egg omelet). The chocolate cruissant we got was pretty bready and lacked the layered texture that a good cruissant should have. The pool facility in the hotel was really nice and we spend nearly two hours there. They have a pretty large pool with a constant depth of about 4 feel. They also have a separate jacuzzi pool which was too hot for our liking. We also enjoyed the added perks by our Amex Platinum membership and really appreciated that the hotel covered the 70$ Valet parking using the Amex 100$ credit. Overall, it was a good experience and we'll likely come here again.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Top notch staff. Everything was luxurious. A surprising bonus was the use of Dyptique amenities in the bathrooms (soaps, shampoo, lotion, etc). Our harbor view room had, as hoped, a beautiful view. Fun to watch the airplanes come and go from Logan. Minibar was very well stocked! Lots of free treats and goodies supplied like chocolates and whatnot as well. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, room service dinner was also pretty good. Only downside is that the walls are pretty thin and we could hear conversation in the neighboring room which means they probably heard our sounds too... and while it is fun to see the planes, you really hear them in the room. One low cost solution would be for the hotel to provide adjustable white noise machines in each room. I've seen this at some hotels in or near airports and is a nice touch. Anyway, still a 5 Star hotel and experience.
