I stayed here with with a few co-workers during the first snowstorm in Boston. The hotel has a cool vibe, great location, close to work. Rooms are clean, giving music studio, on the road music type of vibe. Free continental breakfast is always a plus. Each room has its own record player and you can go to the front desk grab vinyl records from different genres to play in your room. The only thing we didn’t like is the shower, it splashes everywhere coz there’s no door, only a divider that as a hole in it which makes your sink wet. Also, we worked nights and the housekeeping staff were very loud, and I’m not exaggerating, literally yelling outside your room. We were very happy that the heated pool was open even when it’s snowing outside. Other than that, the whole experience was good.

What a delightful and comfortable hotel. The charm made me smile out loud a few times. Have stayed in both the rooms and the airstreams. Very cool. Couldve lived without loud door sounds at night but im a light sleeper. Loved the breakfast, heated pool and records.

Such an incredibly cool hotel. They are completely committed to the rock & roll bit, right down to the bag the extra TP is in (Rock & Extra Roll). Super friendly staff, great relaxed vibe, not corporate feeling at all. I am told the heated pool is amazing, my wife and daughter enjoyed it. Very convenient location across the street from Fenway. We got a fantastic deal on a random Thursday in February, as expected, prices are far higher when the Sox are playing. The included breakfast is more or less on par with most other hotels, nothing super special, but quite passable.

This is the third time my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Verb. Every time was a perfect 10 experience. VIP trailers are so fun! Pool is awesome in summer or winter. Staff is always VERY friendly and accommodating. Location is clutch. I live 10 mins away, and have stayed 3 times just because it’s so fun, and there are so many great bars and restaurants within close walking distance. Amazing place. So unique and different from all of the other hotels in the area. Keep up the good work!

This is by far, the coolest hotel I've stayed in. The lobby is cozy and has guitars available to use if a creative moment strikes. Music memorabilia fills the main corridor and more framed items line each hallway. The pool is hot and cozy, even on the coldest nights. The rooms are clean and well sized. The staff (Jake & McKenzie) are friendly and helpful. The valet parking, although expensive, is super convenient, but is limited and may not always be available.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel from pre-check in all the way to check-out. My room was not ready since I did arrive early but I was called as soon as it was and my luggage that was on hold was already placed in my room. Such a cute music vibe, there’s even records you can choose to take to your room and play on the record player. Coffee and water available all day and breakfast included. Breakfast attendants Mirian and Yoselin were friendly and attentive. Nice variety of premium pastries, eggs, freshly made Belgian waffles, Chobani yogurts, cereals etc. There’s plenty of places to eat within walking distance as well. Stayed here for one night since the concert venue was a 4 minute walk, I will definitely be back. Front desk attendant, McKensie, was amazing.

Such an awesome Rock themed hotel. We stayed in the Backstage trailers, and they were truly worth the cost. Fenway is your backyard. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk from the MGM Music Hall, and many restaurants and bars. I 100% recommend staying here. The employees are super nice, and the hotel is just amazing!

We stayed at the Verb while visiting our daughter in college. What a fun vibe this place has! From the music memorabilia displayed all over the hotel, to the unlimited vinyl options to enjoy back in your room, this hotel makes you smile from the moment you walk in. The breakfast space is warm yet edgy, with great breakfast options to enjoy. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to Back Bay through the park which is where we needed to go most days, but the Verb is also spitting distance from Fenway so plenty of food options right around the hotel as well.

This hotel was so rad!! Absolutely loved the rock music theme. Being able to choose vinyls from their collection in the lobby & play them in our room was awesome. The vinyls played perfectly. The vintage bus out front was super cool. The staff were friendly. The free breakfast was great. It was the BEST vibe for our girls trip!

My wife and I decided to splurge on one of the backstage trailers for our anniversary. On the one hand, it met or exceeded all of our basic expectations for a hotel; the room was fantastic and extremely comfortable. The staff were excellent, highly receptive and helpful. Our room was decked out and personalized and helped make the weekend extra special. And the location is a huge plus - right down the street from our concert venue with plenty of great eats and drinks around (plus the proximity to Fenway is a big plus, especially during the on season). I would love nothing more than to say that I will certainly be returning to and recommending the Verb. That said, one expectation that the Verb did not meet was their main selling point and the primary catalyst for our decision to stay there: the record library with the turntable in every room. The initial fun and excitement of flipping through their record collection and building a mini soundtrack for the weekend quickly turned into disappointment when every single record we took back to our room was badly scratched and damaged almost beyond playability. Of the over a dozen records we tried, not a single one was playable for an entire side, and most of them started skipping on the first or second song. Eventually we gave up on the records altogether, which was frustrating since we didn't bring any additional entertainment, having banked on the music being our primary entertainment for the weekend. For whatever it's worth, the gentleman at the desk was very receptive when we brought this up and did mention that they are investing in a machine that will refurbish the records (and I understand the hotel staff can't always be held accountable for the way their guests treat their property), but in the current state I'm not sure that I can say that we'll make such a splurge again. Great place, great location, with great dedication toward making guests feel like rock stars. It would just be really nice if the music worked.
