The Envoy Hotel receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising the location, stylish design, and exceptional service, particularly from staff like Chris and Daniela. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding noise levels, inconsistent amenities, and issues with room readiness and communication regarding unavailable amenities like the rooftop bar. Recent reviews highlight a decline in service quality and operational issues.

The Envoy put us in a room on the 3rd floor, which sounded like we had a freeway next to our room all night. One of the main reasons we stayed here was the Rooftop Bar only to find out it was closed for a private event the night we booked. There was no notification or communication regarding this when we booked. I would have picked a different hotel had I known. Not a great experience.

We requested late checkout the night before checking out (we had 5 rooms reserved) and the receptionist said we are all good. Before regular checkout time I found the housekeepers in my room because they said I should checkout (this was at 11:30am not even at regular checkout time). Called the receptionist (female brunette receptionist) since I have late checkout and she said its not in their records and she will personally call me every 10mins until all 5 rooms are checked out. Spent thousands of dollars at this hotel to spend one night and get harassed by a receptionist for a one hour late checkout that was approved

We are in Boston attending an awards ceremony hosted by the Boston Marine Society and chose The Envoy Hotel, Autograph Collection for our stay. Located at 70 Sleeper Street in the Seaport District, this hotel offers beautiful views of Boston Harbor and the downtown skyline. The staff here has been exceptional. Everyone was friendly, professional, and very accommodating, especially when helping us with an early check-in after a long day of traveling. That level of hospitality immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. The room itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable with a stylish nautical-inspired design that fits perfectly with Boston’s waterfront atmosphere. The large windows and harbor views were especially impressive. The location is another major advantage. You are within walking distance of Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, and many other historic sites throughout the city. While the hotel does not have a pool, they do offer a very well-equipped fitness center which more than makes up for it. We are staying through the weekend and looking forward to our guided tour of Fenway Park. If your travels bring you to Boston, I highly recommend The Envoy Hotel for its outstanding location, beautiful accommodations, and exceptional service.

Booked the Envoy last minute knowing little about the area and very glad I did. The staff was great. Location was perfect. Highly recommend spending some time up on their rooftop even if you don’t end up booking here, bc that was definitely a highlight during my stay. Mattress and pillows could’ve been better but that’s probably a personal preference. Hope to be back again soon!

I stayed here during a convention. I typically like to try out new places when I travel. I've stayed at a handful of different locations over the years, but this one was my favorite so far. It's only a 17 minute walk from the convention center. The location of where the hotel is in a prime location for food and groceries (Shake Shack & Trader Joe's). There is a bar on the top and a restaurant downstairs. I liked how they gave me a voucher for staying there for food. Not sure if this is a common thing or not. The hotel room was nicely laid out for the exception of the light switch being no where near the bed. There is also no refrigerator in the room. The shower controls were unique but I definitely liked the rain shower feel . Other than that, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. When I come back, it will be on my top list of hotels to book.

Five stars in every way. I won't stay anywhere else in Boston. The location, the service, the rooms, the water views, and the rooftop bar can't be beat. Walking distance to great lobster rolls at James Hook and walking distance to all the Italian restaurants in the North End. As for service - Chris at the front desk made my stay seamless! He was friendly and highly efficient. I highly recommend the Envoy for anyone visiting Boston. It's an experience.

We had a great stay at the Envoy Hotel, and I especially want to recognize Donnovan at the front desk. Our luggage didn’t arrive, and we needed a late checkout so we could wait to pick it up from Logan Airport. Donnovan was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and kind during what could have been a really stressful situation. He made the process seamless and treated us with genuine care and professionalism. Customer service like his truly makes a difference. Thank you, Donnovan, for going above and beyond!

Great location, next to Barking Crab and the federal courthouse. Very comfortable beds, almost the same as the Bellagio in Vegas. Plus rain shower, Toto toilet and nice-scented body lotion. Wonderful breakfast at the on-site restaurant Para Maria; the hotel gives guests $15 credit for the day. Finally, plenty of lighting in the room.

The hotel was very chic and modern. I stayed in a room overlooking the water that had a pretty nice view. Beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the amenities listed on the website don't match what is a available at the hotel. I asked about the ICA tickets and was told that they hadn't done that in a while. Additionally, although Marriott members were listed as having additional bonuses, they weren't available. Also, room service was a struggle. We requested ice and coffee a few times during our stay, it got lost and required multiple calls to the desk each time.

My new favorite place in Seaport Boston. Prefect location with easy access to both seaport and downtown attractions. Service was amazing. Room was perfect and design was so fun and unique. Will definitely stay again in the future.
