I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Boston-Cambridge! The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, and the shuttle service was especially convenient and reliable. Romny was fantastic- he was super helpful with our pickups and drop-offs, and he was genuinely such a great person to talk to. His friendly attitude really made the experience even better. Overall, a very pleasant stay with wonderful staff and great service. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Boston. Within a 10 minute walk to 2 transit stations and also busses. Great service, quiet area, nice pool and basketball. We had breakfast every day and Great service and choices. Used free shuttle service. Rooms were fairly large. We loved it and would go back again

Booked a three night stay for a family event. I was very impressed with the service we received throughout our stay. As a traveler with a disability that needs the assistance of a wheelchair, the room was very maneuverable. We reserved a handicap accessible room but to my delight we were upgraded to a suite. A special shout out to Jasmine the manager who checked us in for her overall kindness and Jean who was a welcoming face each morning while serving us breakfast. Will definitely stay if we are in the area again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The front desk service was awesome and I really liked the breakfast staff, they were very attentive. The room was nice and clean. I would recommend my friends and family to this Holiday Inn when visiting Boston.

I love this hotel for many reasons. Every single staff member is kind and helpful. They were knowledgeable and had many suggestions on places to visit. There are many places to walk to and they offer shuttle service free of charge. My room was clean and I had everything I needed. This is my top choice hotel when traveling to this area.

My experience at Holiday Inn Boston - Cambridge Area by IHG was very special because it gave me the opportunity to visit a new place and live a different experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt excited to be close to Boston and see famous places. What I liked the most was that the hotel was comfortable and quiet, so I could relax after going out during the day. I also loved spending time at the pool and taking pictures because the place had a nice and relaxing atmosphere. In addition, the staff was kind to me and always tried to help whenever I had questions. During my stay, I learned to be more independent, organize my things better, and enjoy new experiences. Without a doubt, it was a trip that I will always remember because I shared fun moments and discovered another part of the United States.

The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable, making for a restful stay. The bathroom is also clean, and the water pressure is great, which I really appreciated. The hotel offers free coffee and water in the lobby, plus amenities like an indoor pool and a game area. The property feels safe and secure, since access to rooms, elevators, and amenities requires a key card. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and easy. The location is very convenient, close to Cambridge universities, downtown Boston, and Newbury Street. We mainly used Uber and Lyft to get around, which worked well for us. A few downsides though—there’s no microwave in the room, only one available downstairs. The breakfast is decent, but I didn’t like having to ask staff for drinks instead of having them readily available. Also, there were no waffles or pancakes, which are usually expected in hotel breakfasts. The staff could be more welcoming and approachable. One instance that stood out was when I went down to charge bottled water to my room—I was asked for an ID “to make sure I wasn’t a stranger,” which felt a bit off due to how it was communicated. There was also an issue with breakfast coupons—we were supposed to receive 4, but only got 2 at check-in. I had to go back the next day to request the rest, and it took some back-and-forth before they provided the additional coupons. You can also hear some traffic noise from outside, which might affect light sleepers. Parking is available but costs around $18 per night. Overall, it’s a comfortable and secure hotel with good amenities, but improving customer service and small conveniences would make the experience much better.

Everything about our stay during the blizzard of 2026 was fine. The staff was very pleasant and upbeat despite the stressful conditions. They should really change their website and print marketing to reflect that the restaurant is not actually open 7 days a week. We were kind of scrambling for food options due to this misinformation.

The hotel staff are professionals at keeping the rooms tidy and prepared. Customer service at front desk is wonderful. Breakfast is excellent. I enjoy my stay every time I come here. Great service and amenities. Thank you.

I travel for work almost twice a month and have stayed in multiple hotels across the country. This was a fun trip for my son but definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had and first time in a Holiday Inn. None of the front desk staff ACTUALLY knew basic info on the hotel (such as pool hours). Only one girl knew the answers to any question. The door on the pool was permanently locked and I kept having to get the front desk if I needed to get in. (One of the times I was in the pool and just had to run to my room, came back down to ask to get let back in, and she told me “thats because it is closed”… i said i was just there, she said “oh yea”…. what? ?. Restaurant was never open for dinner like it says online. Only breakfast and the only actual options were eggs, sausage, bacon, dry potatoes, some bread options, some fruit (soggy), cereal and oatmeal. They even asked me what I would like to drink and never brought them over, just brought a check 20 min later and by that time I needed to head out for our time slot at Legoland. I then tried to get the coffee in the lobby and it was empty, and then proceeded to try to brew coffee in my room machine and it never worked. 3 of the lamps in my room were broken which is pretty big considering theres no main light and just lamps. The shower was leaking the whole time and never had hot water, i was taking cold showers. the toilet doesnt even flush all the way. The bathroom door wouldnt even close. And the door to my actual room wouldnt close all th way unless you pull it super tight, we found out because a lady had walked right into the room. There was a piece of metal sticking out the side of the bed. Only one elevator working for the whole building. Gym literally has 3 machines and dumbells. I had lost a room key and called to ask for a replacement and he told me to come downstairs (you cant use the elevator without a room key) I told him… “dont i need a key to get downstairs?” he said “yes” …. okay sooooooo. I then proceeded to say well can i take the stairs, he said “we dont have stairs”….. okay sooooooo. Finally he said “i can TRY to bring it upstairs for you” …..okay….. ? Like everything gave clueless. On a good note, the pool area was great for my son and he had so much fun. He also like the extra cot they supplied for him because he’s a “big boy and can sleep by himself” ? . The location is also great, it is so close to Legoland and has so much within a small distance around it for food, shopping, etc. And overall really clean lobby and room.
