Encore Boston Harbor offers a luxurious and expansive resort experience, combining a vibrant casino, multiple high-end restaurants, and upscale accommodations. Guests consistently praise the hotel’s elegant design, impressive amenities, and attentive service, particularly highlighting the exceptional spa and comfortable rooms. While some express concerns about parking and food costs, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
Amazing hotel and overall experience. The rooms were beautiful, modern, and very comfortable, and the entire property feels incredibly luxurious and well designed. There’s free parking, a full casino, and multiple great restaurants and bars inside the resort, so there’s plenty to do without leaving the property. Everything was clean, upscale, and very well maintained. It honestly feels like a Vegas-style resort right near Boston. Between the rooms, the casino, and the atmosphere, this is easily one of the nicest hotels in the area. Highly recommend.
Spent 5 days here enjoying to room, casino, and food. Parking was easy and abundant. Had food via both takeouts and restaurants - quality was consistent and service was excellent. Easy for friends to drop by and hang out together albeit could be a bit pricey paying cash instead of using comp points.
From the moment we arrived, Kay at reception made our stay exceptional. She was professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell she truly cares about guests having a great experience. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, comfortable, and taken care of. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really set the tone for our visit. Customer service like this is rare ! Kay represents the hotel at the highest level. Thank you for such a great first impression. We’ll definitely be back.
Encore Boston Harbor truly delivers elegance from top to bottom. Although it’s one of the smaller casino resorts I’ve visited, it is easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. The rooms are some of the largest in the Boston area, and you feel that space immediately. From the personalized welcome message on the television to Alexa opening and closing the curtains, everything felt seamless and intentional. The separate spa tub, glass shower, plush robes, and comfortable slippers made the stay feel elevated yet relaxing. The decor throughout the property is clean and refined, with beautiful bursts of color. We visited in April and the seasonal carousel installation in the lobby was stunning without feeling overwhelming. The spa experience was exceptional. I’ve been to many spas, and the massage here is easily in my top five. While the spa is not packed with multiple hot and cold rooms, the quality of the treatment more than makes up for it. What stood out most was the feeling of being welcomed and cared for. The Encore strikes a perfect balance between stimulation and relaxation. I would absolutely stay again.
We had dinner last night at Fratelli in Encore and it beyond perfect! We were greeted by a male and female host, our original reservation was for 5:00 we were able to change without any problems. Our waiter was Bernard #126666. Bernard was friendly, professional and made the dining experience one we will never forget. Our meals were 10+! On the expensive side, but worth every dollar. Would highly recommend having dinner at Frateli
Boston's only casino is a beautiful location right on the harbor. Harbor side views of Boston are some of the best in the city. The location is difficult to get to and parking while free is limited and carting stuff to your room from the garage is a hike. I suggest valet unless you're going to dinner or just visiting the casino While the hotel can be pricy, the rooms are fantastic. Beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet. There are several options to eat inside including Shake Shack and Red (very good Chinese) several bars and hundreds of gaming options. Once you're at Encore there's so much to do, getting there is the only reason that there's a star missing. It's right in the Everett/Boston line and just past the draw bridge. Looking for a casino in Boston? Then go visit Encore Boston Harbor
I recently spent a few days at the Encore Boston Harbor and had a really great overall experience. The first thing I have to mention is the staff. Everyone was super welcoming, but Larry at the lobby was a total standout. The room and bathroom were huge, which was a pleasant surprise. The view was the highlight for me. Loved this amazing panorama of the city skyline on the horizon while looking right out over the harbor. To be honest, the actual interior design of the room wasn't really my cup of tea, but it was definitely comfortable. I also loved the tech setup, you can control everything in the room through an iPad, and it has all the info you need about the hotel right there. The rest of the complex is massive. There’s a huge casino if you’re looking for some energy, and plenty of different restaurants to choose from right on-site, which was super convenient. Large shopping center is just 20min walk or 10min taxi from the hotel. I would like to congratulate the gardeners for keeping the beautiful plants in such a wonderful healthy shape ???
Encore is truly a beautiful property and, in nearly every way, a five-star hotel. From the thoughtful details in the rooms to the elegant ambiance throughout the halls, it’s an outstanding destination whether you’re staying for one night or a full vacation. It’s definitely more of an adult getaway than a kid-friendly resort, which is something to keep in mind. The casino is immaculate—you constantly see staff cleaning—and the level of service is excellent. Anything needed for the room is delivered promptly. The food across the property is fabulous and well worth the price. Check-in is seamless, with friendly staff who offer cold or room-temperature water and consistently provide a warm, welcoming experience. My only negative experience occurred at the RARE steakhouse. While visiting on business and dining alone, I had one spicy margarita at the lounge and then walked over to the steakhouse to eat dinner. When I sat at the bar and attempted to order a second margarita, I was unexpectedly denied service. I was confused and asked for clarification. The bartender told me, in a very flat and dismissive manner, that he could not serve me any more alcohol and that this instruction came from his manager. I asked to speak with the manager, hoping to understand what was going on. Unfortunately, he would not provide a clear explanation or reason. I was left feeling uncomfortable, unwelcome, and embarrassed—despite having done nothing inappropriate. I genuinely tried to understand if there was something I needed to be aware of or address, but the only explanation offered was that there were “certain mannerisms and characteristics” that concerned him, without any further clarification. The interaction was upsetting enough that I chose not to stay for dinner. I later reported the incident to hotel management because it was deeply concerning to experience that level of treatment from management in a setting like this—especially as a repeat guest who has stayed at Encore many times and is recognized by the front desk staff. Customer service matters, particularly in hospitality. I expect to be treated with the same respect I give, and I truly hope this experience is taken seriously so it doesn’t happen again. That said, I am still giving Encore a four-star review overall. The beauty of the property, the cleanliness, the professionalism of the majority of the staff, and the obvious hard work that goes into maintaining this resort absolutely deserve it. I will be leaving a separate review specifically for the steakhouse, as that experience does not reflect the high standard Encore otherwise upholds.
Had a great time here but there is a few issues I have with Encore. The food is good but its a little pricey. 8 bucks for a slice of pizza. I was in Vegas not to long ago and the pizza was 6 bucks a slice. You would think the mecca of entertainment and gambling would charge you more. 6 bucks I can see but 8 is crazy in my opinion. My 2nd issue I have with Encore is the waitresses. I was on the traps table for about 2 hours and not once did a waitresses make her rounds over to my area and ask the ppl playing if they wanted a drink. My last issue is the heat, I get it, its winter and it cold outside but when you have a few thousand ppl in the same space it generates alot of heat. No need to have the heat jacked up. It was unbearable, must have been 86 to 88 degrees in there. I had a hoody on and was sweating. If you plane on going here make sure you early before you get here and wear a t-shirt. Almost forgot! I really wish they had fish tables in the casino.
Going to Encore is like a mini vacation, beautiful ambiance and relaxing atmosphere..Seamark is one of the outstanding restaurants at the casino! Every dish and sauce was a delight.. you need to try everything! I don’t even eat fish but my husband’s haddock was picture perfect and even I had to sample a small bite! The calamari was perfect, zingy but not too spicy. The shrimp tempura was not the regular version, no breading but the sauce was very tasty. And for those of you that say you don’t order steak at a seafood restaurant, you’re quite mistaken… the wagyu was melt in your mouth perfection! The waitstaff was very professional and friendly and knew everything about the menu. If you want a special evening and want to stay local, look into Encore and be surprised!
