Encore Boston Harbor offers a luxurious and impressive experience, featuring a high-end casino, spa, multiple restaurants, and spacious rooms. While generally praised for its aesthetics and amenities, recent reviews highlight inconsistent service and issues with certain hotel policies, particularly regarding dining credits.

Overall, I would have given this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. The hotel is very impressive and has a high end feel from the moment you walk in. The lobby, casino, hallways, and common areas are all clean and well kept. It feels like a place that was built with a lot of attention to detail. I also liked that it did not feel overcrowded, which made the stay more relaxing. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of space. The bed was great, the bathroom was nice, and everything felt clean and fresh. Housekeeping also did a good job, and the staff around the property were friendly and professional. Another thing I liked was that the hotel has enough to do without needing to leave right away. The casino is nice, the spa was enjoyable, and there are restaurants and places to walk around. It felt like a good place for a short getaway. The only real problem I had was with the dining credit. My stay came with an $80 credit that I understood could be used for room service or at a restaurant. I placed a room service order before noon and waited about an hour. When I called to ask about it, I was told the kitchen had closed and that my order would not be coming. At that point I still needed lunch, so I went to one of the hotel restaurants instead. When I checked out, I was told the credit only applied to breakfast and would not be used for my meal. I explained that I had tried to use the credit earlier and only went to the restaurant because my room service order was never delivered. The manager, Karen, offered only a $20 credit toward my spa charges. That part was frustrating and not handled very well. It made the stay end on a disappointing note. Still, the hotel itself is very nice, and I would consider going back. I just think the hotel should be clearer about the credit and should have handled that situation better.

I used to play Little League soccer across the way on dexter street and I can say without a doubt that Encore is the best thing that has happened here since the pilgrims. The green space is serene. I hope it continues to expand and that they build a pedestrian bridge along the purple line tracks into assembly. It's pretty in here! Maybe it's a bit over the top and gaudy but I can't help but be impressed by the curved escalators, flowers, gold, and art. I don't know what that explosion of wood and paint behind the registration desk is but I love it, it is very cool I can not deny. Also, Everyone working here is super nice and helpful! Shoutouts to Freddy in room service! Overall I had a really great time BUT there were a few things that absolutely drove me up a wall: A) The concierge at check in suggested I could change the temperature of the room from the comfort of my Jacuzzi bathtub. Here was my irl experience with Alexa. me in the bathroom “Alexa, turn on the lights in the bathroom please” -noresponse me standing next to alexa “Alexa, please turn on the lights in the bathroom” alexa “Do you mean turn on all the lights?” me “No just the bathroom” alexa “i don't understand.” me “Alexa, open the curtains?” alexa “i… don't understand?” me “Alexa, what can you do?” alexa “.... i dont understand?” me *unplugs alexa* B) I get it, buttons are passee i guess but the two ipads are quite enough! we don't need curtains, and the Do-Not-Disturb signs to be exclusively controlled through touch screens! The Do-Not-Disturb in particular is a huge downgrade from the centuries old tried and true method of piece of paper on the door. I was just using the bathroom when all of the sudden all the lights turned off and all my curtains closed because housekeeping came into the room and touched “all off” Turning the entire room pitch black. That was NOT GOOD VERY BAD. The curtains are pretty freaking annoying too, if you try to move them they move themselves. you gotta press the buttons at the right time if you want it perfect. Opening the curtains just a crack is like the final boss of Dance Dance Revolution. just a tiny crack please for gods sake let me adjust my curtains with my hands. C) The high tech mini bar is a god forsaken scam designed by Lucifer himself. A stack of candy in a hotel room but if you move the candy for more than 30 seconds your card is charged?? Are you kidding? Is this a prank? I can't imagine what it’d be like to bring your kid in here my goodness gracious. D) If you are coming here be warned of the nightlife clientele. It is a Manchild Menagerie up in here. I’m glad that even rowdy frat bros have found a place in Boston they can go to be their true selves but for the rest of us, you know the drill, hide your kids, hide your wife, etc.

Excellent for first time visit, I signed up for membership and got 50 dollars to play plus 10 for military member, the most i got from all the casinos. Good services with free drinks and spacious parking lot. Lot of slot machines but some were down. No smoking room inside so I have to go outside to smoke. Didn't win but had awesome experience. Highly recommended, beautiful place.

Before even arriving, Encore’s Call Center helped me reserve and was very helpful. Their agents Steve and Kenneth handled everything for me. From the moment I set foot on the property, staff was ready to welcome me and assist me without even asking. I was greeted by Jim who was wonderful, always ready to offer me assistance and recommendations every single time I crossed his path. Melkamu offered to hold my bags right as I arrived, while I went shopping. Larry at the front desk assisted me throughout my stay as well! Jenn was the one who did my check-in, she was very welcoming. The room was very spacious, the amenities are absolutely worth it. With voice command you can control the room or use the iPad. The rooms give you that luxury suite vibe and it feels as if you are at the comfort of your own home, if not better. The complimentary boat shuttle located on the property which takes you to Long Wharf and back to the hotel was very useful to get around quickly. The hotel itself is spectacular, there are so many restaurants and the casino is very fun to visit. The free parking is a plus for those who drive, very worth it.

Amazing hotel and overall experience. The rooms were beautiful, modern, and very comfortable, and the entire property feels incredibly luxurious and well designed. There’s free parking, a full casino, and multiple great restaurants and bars inside the resort, so there’s plenty to do without leaving the property. Everything was clean, upscale, and very well maintained. It honestly feels like a Vegas-style resort right near Boston. Between the rooms, the casino, and the atmosphere, this is easily one of the nicest hotels in the area. Highly recommend.

Spent 5 days here enjoying to room, casino, and food. Parking was easy and abundant. Had food via both takeouts and restaurants - quality was consistent and service was excellent. Easy for friends to drop by and hang out together albeit could be a bit pricey paying cash instead of using comp points.

From the moment we arrived, Kay at reception made our stay exceptional. She was professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell she truly cares about guests having a great experience. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, comfortable, and taken care of. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really set the tone for our visit. Customer service like this is rare ! Kay represents the hotel at the highest level. Thank you for such a great first impression. We’ll definitely be back.

Encore Boston Harbor truly delivers elegance from top to bottom. Although it’s one of the smaller casino resorts I’ve visited, it is easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. The rooms are some of the largest in the Boston area, and you feel that space immediately. From the personalized welcome message on the television to Alexa opening and closing the curtains, everything felt seamless and intentional. The separate spa tub, glass shower, plush robes, and comfortable slippers made the stay feel elevated yet relaxing. The decor throughout the property is clean and refined, with beautiful bursts of color. We visited in April and the seasonal carousel installation in the lobby was stunning without feeling overwhelming. The spa experience was exceptional. I’ve been to many spas, and the massage here is easily in my top five. While the spa is not packed with multiple hot and cold rooms, the quality of the treatment more than makes up for it. What stood out most was the feeling of being welcomed and cared for. The Encore strikes a perfect balance between stimulation and relaxation. I would absolutely stay again.

We had dinner last night at Fratelli in Encore and it beyond perfect! We were greeted by a male and female host, our original reservation was for 5:00 we were able to change without any problems. Our waiter was Bernard #126666. Bernard was friendly, professional and made the dining experience one we will never forget. Our meals were 10+! On the expensive side, but worth every dollar. Would highly recommend having dinner at Frateli

Boston's only casino is a beautiful location right on the harbor. Harbor side views of Boston are some of the best in the city. The location is difficult to get to and parking while free is limited and carting stuff to your room from the garage is a hike. I suggest valet unless you're going to dinner or just visiting the casino While the hotel can be pricy, the rooms are fantastic. Beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet. There are several options to eat inside including Shake Shack and Red (very good Chinese) several bars and hundreds of gaming options. Once you're at Encore there's so much to do, getting there is the only reason that there's a star missing. It's right in the Everett/Boston line and just past the draw bridge. Looking for a casino in Boston? Then go visit Encore Boston Harbor
