My husband, our small dog, and I recently stayed at the InterContinental Boston for three nights, and our experience was outstanding from start to finish. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Esteban at the front desk was absolutely amazing. He assisted us with two reservations and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was seamless and enjoyable. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. We also want to recognize Joe and Adam at the concierge desk. Both gentlemen were excellent resources throughout our visit, offering helpful recommendations and assistance whenever we needed it. Their knowledge of the area and willingness to help enhanced our overall experience. Another standout was Marcus in the restaurant. His level of service was exceptional—so much so that it felt like stepping back in time to an era when hospitality was truly an art form. He was attentive, personable, and made every dining experience memorable. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and exceptionally well maintained, with all the modern amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel. We also appreciated how welcoming the hotel was to our dog, which made traveling with a pet much easier and more enjoyable. If I had one minor criticism, it would be that I found the bed a bit too firm for my personal preference. However, this was a very small issue and certainly not enough to detract from an otherwise outstanding stay. Overall, I give the InterContinental Boston five stars and would gladly stay here again. Very nice hotel with spa, gym and restaurant. We visited Boston over the Memorial Day weekend and experienced bad weather, but this hotel was a nice place to get stuck in. It’s very beautiful when you walk in with the decor and fireplace (it was a cold weekend). Gorgeous restaurant and spacious rooms too. Nice gym, steam room and spa. Great service as well. Would stay here again.

Perfect location with staff and service to match. We stayed one night after coming in from Logan, and it was a delight. The hotel location, rooms, staff and service were all top notch. An extra big thank you to the reception staff which were an absolute pleasure. We are walkers, and the location on the waterfront is great if you want to enjoy Boston's location on the and take in great views of the city. You can also just choose to look out of the window (see the picture) :-) I could nitpick (the coffee machine being stuck in a cupboard was a little weird), but to be honest, I would be reaching.

1000/10! Beautiful rooms, and not a spec of dirt anywhere, cleanest hotel I've ever been in. The hospitality was superb from the moment we arrived until we left. The pool was amazing (could of been a little warmer, but was still good) I even booked a prenatal massage, and it was excellent. Only downfall is that there's no free/public parking in the area, which was expected, valet 65$ a night, so next time I will just uber there. Would def come back again, and will, now that I'm a member =)

We had a great stay at the InterContinental Boston. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and in a great location. It’s also walking distance from the train station, which was very convenient for us since we came in from New York by train. We were upgraded to a suite, which was perfect for our family. The club lounge was excellent—fresh, plentiful food and very kind staff. Our kids especially loved making hot chocolate every morning, and one staff member was especially sweet and attentive with them. We also enjoyed the s’mores experience, which was a fun family activity. The only downside was the beds and pillows, which were extremely soft and unfortunately caused neck and back discomfort for all of us. Overall, great service, beautiful views of the harbor, and a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely return.

Had an amazing stay in Boston. From check in on to check out the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. This was my first stay at The Intercontinental but it won't be my last. Top notch service with associates that go above and beyond for guests.

Fist off my fiancé had a medical emergency biopsy a few days prior to our trip so we tried to reschedule and were refused, we were assured the hotel would be accommodating, my fiancé needs ice packs, the rooms fridge has no freezer, or any room really for anything but the issue the lack of freezer for ice packs we brought in a yeti cooler. After 20 hrs of pain and no ice we decided we had to go since the hotel couldn’t accommodate us. They never asked why we left a night early, The best part of our stay was leaving early so she could get to ice packs frozen. Not a nuke warm computerized mini fridge. Would never recommend this hotel. If I could give it zero stars I would. Disgraceful practices in management, staff friendly, nice, and enthusiastic. View out window had a pc of a window metal bar missing. Lovely to see 9 stories up. Hard pass hit and Travelocity blaming each other both doing nothing. Easy to pass the buck hard to take accountability.

The service was excellent and the rooms were generally high quality. The biggest issue with the room was the nonsensical bathroom design. There was a door, which is great. However, there is a sliding glass window that opens right at the foot of the bed. Absolutely no sound proofing and no fan. The bathroom had no nightlight so if someone used the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light came through the glass window. Also, one of the switches in the bathroom turned on every light in the hotel room. It would be great if the minibar had a menu and list of prices.

The room was fantastic, the view was great, rhe location good and every single staff member I interacted with was amazing. One small complaint was the room was a little cool, and I couldn't get the controls to work properly. Maybe put some instructions on thr control panel.

Five-star stay from start to finish Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. The 24 hour access gym is among the best I’ve seen: Peloton bikes, Technogym treadmills and rowers, plus a strength area with kettlebells, dumbbells, machines, and a barbell rack. Good for both cardio and weight training. There is a heated pool. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed. Highly recommended.
