Had an amazing stay in Boston. From check in on to check out the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. This was my first stay at The Intercontinental but it won't be my last. Top notch service with associates that go above and beyond for guests.

Fist off my fiancé had a medical emergency biopsy a few days prior to our trip so we tried to reschedule and were refused, we were assured the hotel would be accommodating, my fiancé needs ice packs, the rooms fridge has no freezer, or any room really for anything but the issue the lack of freezer for ice packs we brought in a yeti cooler. After 20 hrs of pain and no ice we decided we had to go since the hotel couldn’t accommodate us. They never asked why we left a night early, The best part of our stay was leaving early so she could get to ice packs frozen. Not a nuke warm computerized mini fridge. Would never recommend this hotel. If I could give it zero stars I would. Disgraceful practices in management, staff friendly, nice, and enthusiastic. View out window had a pc of a window metal bar missing. Lovely to see 9 stories up. Hard pass hit and Travelocity blaming each other both doing nothing. Easy to pass the buck hard to take accountability.

The service was excellent and the rooms were generally high quality. The biggest issue with the room was the nonsensical bathroom design. There was a door, which is great. However, there is a sliding glass window that opens right at the foot of the bed. Absolutely no sound proofing and no fan. The bathroom had no nightlight so if someone used the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light came through the glass window. Also, one of the switches in the bathroom turned on every light in the hotel room. It would be great if the minibar had a menu and list of prices.

The room was fantastic, the view was great, rhe location good and every single staff member I interacted with was amazing. One small complaint was the room was a little cool, and I couldn't get the controls to work properly. Maybe put some instructions on thr control panel.

Five-star stay from start to finish Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. The 24 hour access gym is among the best I’ve seen: Peloton bikes, Technogym treadmills and rowers, plus a strength area with kettlebells, dumbbells, machines, and a barbell rack. Good for both cardio and weight training. There is a heated pool. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

I want to leave this review specifically for Inilta at the front desk at the InterContinental Boston. My wife and I had planned a night in the city, which was supposed to be our first night out since having our two babies. Unfortunately, one of them got sick and we had to cancel last minute. It was disappointing enough as it was, and then we ran into a lot of issues trying to cancel through the third-party service we booked through. That part still hasn’t been fully resolved. What stood out to us was how much Inilta genuinely tried to help. She went completely above and beyond. She spent time on the phone trying to work through the situation, explored every possible option she could for us, and even checked back in with us the next day to see how things were going. She was empathetic, patient, and truly cared about helping us through a frustrating situation. That level of effort is rare in customer service these days. It would have been easy for her to say it wasn’t her problem since it was booked through a third party, but she didn’t do that. She treated us like real people having a rough moment, and she did everything she could to support us. I think that kind of service deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Inilta is an absolute all-star, and the InterContinental Boston is lucky to have her at the front desk.

The Intercontinental Boston is our favorite hotel in the city. We return her every year for our wedding anniversary. We've always been treated like royalty each and every time. The rooms are great. Very comfortable with nice amenities beautiful bathrooms nice soaking tubs. The hotel staff has gone out of their way to provide extraordinary service. From the greeting at the front door to the front desk to the concierge to the restaurants, the cleaning staff, the valets have all been just great for us. We love it here. We can't wait to come back.

We hadn’t stayed at the InterContinental in about 15 years, so we were pleasantly surprised by how luxurious everything felt. The hotel was spotless, and everyone we encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt comfortable and safe throughout our stay. We were also upgraded at check-in to a beautiful, spacious room with a water view, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool and gym were wonderful. We’re already looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Pro: 1) the room is big 2) location is good 3) they offered late check-out Cons: 1) we have 4 guests for the booking, but all amenities in the room are for 2 (bottles of water, drinking glasses, slippers etc) 2) quality of amenities are below average for 5star hotel. The facial tissue is thin and rough. The shower gel is drying up my skin. Toothbrush etc only on demand. 3) the room is well maintained but you can tell it's dated. 4) our stay included breakfast. Oh boy, the options for breakfast are so limited and coffee isn't good. Only thing I'd appreciate is the fresh squeeze orange juice. Overall, I'd say it's merely worth the price and definitely would only put this as a third option if we return to Boston again.

I had a wonderful first visit to Boston and first time staying at this hotel too. I was very impressed throughout my stay and was especially thankful that after a very early flight arrival, that my room was ready and I was able to check in early. It meant the world to me to be able to go upstairs, settle in to my room, shower and have a nap for a few hours before starting the day. The location is great for exploring the Boston sights. I walked alot but also Lyfts were very easy. It was only 15mins from the airport too. The buffet breakfast was tasty and included made to order items in the price too which was great to see. Although it was quite expensive $45USD, so I only ate here the once. The hotel gym is very well equipped. I didn’t use the indoor pool but the steam room in the change rooms was fantastic and I made good use of that. It’s free for hotel guests. The room was a great size and I loved that it had both a bath and shower separate. However, like many other people have said, the walls are very thin and I woke to screaming children on both sides, early both mornings. I’d stay here again but would bring earplugs now that I know how thin the walls actually are.
