The Lenox is a highly regarded historic hotel in Boston praised for its personalized service and prime Back Bay location. Guests frequently mention upgrades to room fires and suites, though room size and AC performance in older units were noted as occasional downsides.
I absolutely loved this place! Great location, really incredible price, The rooms were even impressive. I would absolutely come back to this place, made my trip really nice. Valerie at the front desk was remarkable. Lenox, Keep up the great work!
The staff are all so welcoming and professional, even down to housekeeping. They were so accommodating and upgraded our room when there was a drain issue in bathtub. Room was always so clean and welcoming when we returned after a day of exploring. And the location is perfect. Room service was amazing every time all the food was so good.
Had a wonderful stay in a fireplace room on my birthday. On a cold night having drinks by a fire in the city is such a treat! This hotels staff has the best hospitality I’ve encountered in a long time, so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks and food at the Irving were delicious and the ambiance is top notch. Will definitely be returning!
What an outstanding hotel. From the ease of check in to all our interactions with the staff, made this stay excellent. Even the nice touches like coffee in the lobby in the morning which was lovely to the gym with the Peloton machines. Rooms and location are fantastic as well.
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate my birthday. The hotel and the staff are absolutely top notch!! The wonderful bellmen were all so nice and professional, every single front desk staff we had always had a big smile and were more than happy to answer our questions. My husband was also in correspondence with Valery prior to our trip to arrange flowers and champagne for the room. She did an amazing job and I was so touched by the birthday greeting! We upgraded to the room with the fireplace which was amazing!!! It was the best feeling coming back from a day of exploring to have a fire lit within a few minutes of requesting it. This was our first time in Boston and we loved how accessible most things are by walking or by taking the train. Bostonians are just awesome people and we loved every minute of this trip! Special thanks also to Peter at the front door as he was so friendly
Had an absolutely amazing experience here, from start to finish. The valet & doormen where friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The staff at check in greeted us and got us to our room quickly. Our room came with a working fireplace, which you don't see very often. We got to enjoy that with breakfast the next AM. The Lennox not only has one of the best locations in Boston but it has the type of character and history we look for in travel. Can't wait to come back! Shout out to Mel.... Who Run the World???? Mel!
Overall a fantastic hotel. Got upgraded without asking to executive suite. Hotel is old so bathroom has the low toilet and the door handles to the rooms are for people that are 5 foot max. But service is great and it's very charming. Not a big fan of how dark they keep it during the day- feel like you're a monk. But at night it's charming especially with the fireplace. Willow and Ivy is great. (breakfast 2 times). Gym is small but does the job. Location is ideal.
I recently stayed at the Lenox for the first time in December and I can see why the rave reviews! The hotel is historic and charming. It is centrally located and very convenient. The service is what stood out to me. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the check-in process, the room - I felt cared for. The service was so gracious and personalized. I even received a hand-written thank you note from the General Manager alongside 2 delicious chocolate chip cookies. (The note was lovely but those chocolate chip cookies? I am still thinking about them a month later!) I stayed in the room with the fireplace but I didnt get a chance to enjoy it. The room was spacious and styled like your grandma's house. Well maintained but not modern which I think is keeping with the history of this place. It was a very nice stay and I will be glad to head back in the future.
I absolutely adore this hotel. I have stayed twice now and each time I am treated with the upmost kindness and attentiveness by the staff. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. The hotel is extremely clean and classy with old school service and character. Such a wonderful place to stay!
Husband and I stayed here on a weekend trip to Boston. It was in the perfect location and we walked pretty much everywhere. The hotel atmosphere was adorable and the service was top notch! We will definitely be coming back. Many restaurants and bars around and a bar in the hotel.
