The Whitney Hotel consistently receives positive feedback for its elegant atmosphere, convenient location in Beacon Hill, and exceptionally attentive staff. Guests praise the comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and welcoming service, especially highlighting the helpfulness of the general manager, Agnes Hayes. While some minor issues with noise have been reported, the overall experience is considered memorable and refined.
I recently stayed at the hotel while attending medical services in Boston. The entire staff is remarkably courteous, attentive, respectful, and perhaps most importantly person. From what I observed, this is a first rate establishment, staffed with conscientious staff who treat every client with dignity. Perfect location nested near the parks, restaurants, medical facilities. Rooms are clean, neatly appointed. Overall a warm comforting atmosphere and experience,
Had a really amazing stay here for the week. Staff were really friendly, helpful and accomodating. Location was great and on the nicest street. Easy to get everywhere and have a nice little wander. Room was spacious and clean. Only tiny issue was heating on in the room, but it was always cold air in the bathroom which became a little annoying by the end. Otherwise a brilliant stay and would come again.
I had a wonderful stay at The Whitney Hotel. Every staff member I interacted with went out of their way to be helpful, which made the experience feel genuinely welcoming. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the restaurant and bar were both lovely. I would happily stay here again.
I had such a pleasant experience here, I wish I’d stayed more than one night. The rooms were really nice and I enjoyed the lobby’s Christmas decorations. Convenient location on Beacon Hill. Bed was so comfortable. I could hear the people above me, so not entirely quiet. Nice amenities. Elevators require key access which was important to me too.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel in Boston’s Back Bay. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, perfectly capturing the character of the neighborhood while still feeling relaxed and comfortable. The lobby holiday decorations created a festive atmosphere. The staff truly stood out—attentive, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or special requests. The room was spacious, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed, offering a most comfortable retreat after a day of walking around the city. One of the highlights of the stay was breakfast in the restaurant. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and a great way to start the morning. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of style, comfort, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and refined stay in Boston. We owe a special thanks to the general manager, Agnes Hayes for her gracious attention during our stay! We hope to return soon!
My husband & I stayed one night prior to my having surgery at MGH the next day. The hotel was warm and inviting on a cold stormy night and our room was really beautiful & cozy and everything you would expect in a luxury boutique hotel. We were on the 1st floor at the end of a quiet hall. The lobby was decorated for Christmas with the fireplace being a lovely centerpiece. Staff were very personable and we were greeted with some hot chocolate upon checking in which was much appreciated. Housekeeping staff were friendly & helpful and pointed out the pantry on our floor and all the complimentary items available to us anytime. We definitely plan to stay here again at some point in the future.
I feel very lucky to have discovered this absolutely wonderful hotel located on Charles Street in the historic area of Beacon Hill. From the moment I walked through the front door I felt at home, amongst friends. Like the surrounding area, the hotel manages to be both cosy and yet comfortable, with large and very well furnished rooms. Most of all I want to thank the staff and the amazing hotel manager, Kamil. Ever present, ever vigilant, he sets the tone with his courtesy, distinguished appearance and attention to every detail. I have become a return visitor and will always feel I’m at home here at the Whitney while Kamil is around!
What a perfect little hotel! We stayed here for four nights for work/fun and loved it all. Extremely comfortable beds, great toiletries, very quiet, and the turn-down service is a nice touch. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly kind and wonderful to interact with. Don’t change a thing! This will be our go-to hotel in Boston.
There are pros and cons about every hotel, I am sure. What separated the Whitney Hotel into the great catagory for us was the unbelievably fine staff. I would guess a lot of people staying here are on expense accounts but we are seniors who were returning from a month long bucket list trip transatlantic and we felt like it. In particular the kind and princely desk clerk, Logan made sure I had coffee in the morning and that we could have a late check out. We had no problems with our unwieldy luggage because of the attentive bell staff. Brian and Tim, bright and beautiful brothers really made the difference in our stay and made us so glad we chose The Whitney. The best location in Boston.
Truly enjoyed my stay at the Whitney Hotel Boston. The rooms are beautiful, the location is perfect, right across the train station and down the beautiful Charles st. Whilst the noise cancelation in the rooms is not best, still everyone at the hotel did their best to make me comfortable. Shout out to Joyce and the team at reception, very friendly and accommodating. Hope to see you again
