The Langham, Boston is a stunning historic luxury hotel celebrated for its world-class service, spacious and comfortable rooms, and exceptional dining. Guests consistently praise the attentive and warm staff, the beautiful river views, and the high-end amenities like the indoor pool and Club lounge.
I’ve stayed at many hotels in Boston, and this is by far my favorite. The service is consistently excellent, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s also genuinely pet-friendly with reasonable fees, which is a huge plus. Don’t skip the breakfast, it’s actually worth it. I’ve finally found my go-to hotel in Boston, and I’ll definitely be back.
We had an exceptional stay at the The Langham, Boston. We had initially come from the Mandarin Oriental, Boston, which is in a great location but unfortunately did not meet the luxury expectations or brand standard we were hoping for. Arriving at The Langham was truly refreshing. The hotel itself has incredible historic and luxury charm, as it was formerly the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. That heritage adds such a unique character to the property. The windows are massive and offer sweeping views, which made the room feel bright, grand, and special. From the very first interaction with Helen to Ella’s kindness during the final days of our stay while a Nor’Easter storm was rolling in, the service felt warm, attentive, and genuine. Marwan made our visit especially memorable with his thoughtful advice and generosity, even surprising us with in-room welcome gifts. Those personal touches made all the difference. The beds were extremely comfortable and made for a restful sleep each night, which truly elevated our overall experience. There were a few minor hiccups from the backend side, but the frontline staff were quick to resolve everything professionally and graciously. That level of responsiveness speaks volumes. One small suggestion would be to notify guests ahead of check-in if a fridge in the room is not working. We also noticed a few housekeeping details that could use more attention, such as small holes in the linens and tiny bits of paper near the sides of the beds. With a bit more focus on those details, the experience would be absolutely flawless. We also understand that the hotel has been awarded two Michelin Keys, which is very well deserved and reflective of the elevated experience offered. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt truly cared for. We hope to return in the near future.
We had a lovely stay at the Langham Boston. It is very charming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to schedule a very early breakfast delivery to ensure we made our flight on time, and the turndown service was a nice touch. Our room had a lovely park view and was quiet/comfortable. The rain shower was an excellent amenity as well. We were only in town for one night so we did not take advantage of the pool or sauna, but they looked fresh and well taken care of. The Fed served excellent food and drinks, and the atmosphere was upscale and relaxing. Would love to return!
I stayed here with my wife. We have 3 kids ages 5-1 and it was our first time in 3 years staying out alone. It was also her birthday weekend. Highly highly recommend. It was our first time. Food is great. Had dinner at the Fed and breakfast at the Gram. Enjoyed the burger, octopus, tuna tartar, and the avocado cob salad for dinner. The almond apricot danish was amazing at breakfast. Staff is super friendly. They brought over a nice card and cupcakes for my wife’s birthday as week. Great location and very well kept hotel. I actually booked another night out to take my mom out to this hotel for the following weekend. Definitely recommend and will be coming more often. A gem in Boston.
Location = perfect! We walked 5 minutes to Faneuil hall and then 10 mins to the Children’s Museum. It was -6° so short walks were helpful. Very close to the $10/night parking so we skipped the valet. Service = top tier amazing. No request went unanswered. Service was impeccable. We were able to communicate via text, which made things so much easier. I asked for late check out, mini fridge, and help with our many bags. Bell hops were delightful and so kind. Accommodations = room was gorgeous and spacious. We had a table which was helpful for meals. Beds were so cozy! Shower was divine. Cleanliness = very very clean. Extras = pool was great. They even had a mini robe and slippers ready for my 6 year old, WOW! She was tickled. Diptyque soaps and hair wash were a real treat. Food = room service was prompt, and portions were generous. Food was yummy! Bolognese and kids pasta were a hit. They even had a pager device to retrieve the cart. A must. Our say was perfect! The loveliest place for adults and kids!
Stayed here at end of December with family. Booked a suite ($1500/night) and was put in a room that had 7.5' ceiling, one window viewing a wall and a shower that I literally couldn't fit into. Had to shower without raising my arms. We booked two nights and had to leave and forfeit the second night. Staff and lounge were fine. Felt liked a booked an airbnb in a foreign land and showed up to a clown property.
Great experience. Better than the langham on 5th ave in nyc for sure. Great staff and super nice hotel. I have a tesla and valet charged it fully which was very much appreciated. Breakfast menu is all clearly marked for gluten free and various options
We got married at The Langham Boston on 12/27/25, and the experience was truly phenomenal. We stayed in the Club Executive Suite, which was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could possibly need — from a great coffee machine to a Dyson hair dryer. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I honestly could have stayed in it all day! The staff took such wonderful care of us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Every team member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even more special. Having access to the Langham Club was an amazing extra perk, and now we can’t imagine staying at The Langham without Club access. We can’t wait to return to The Langham Boston whenever we’re back in town!
We stayed at the Langham for 2 nights for our anniversary. The facilities and location were beautiful and well kept. The room was also excellent. Unfortunately nearly everything else with our stay was problematic. Our bags were delivered and left in the wrong room, room amenities for our child were forgotten, bizarre interactions with the front desk/guest services, and nearly an hour for valet to bring our car around. It’s very possible that our experience was an outlier as the hotel was truly excellent otherwise. We will not be returning.
Magnificent hotel. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Room was clean. Staff were attentive and nice. Onsite breakfast was delicious. Hotel bar served unique and tasty cocktails. Easy walk to multiple locations, including the North End, Macy’s, restaurants. Essentially everything you could want in a hotel!
