The Four Seasons Hotel Boston consistently receives high praise for its exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and prime location. Guests consistently highlight the warm and attentive staff, particularly the remarkable responsiveness and proactive assistance of individuals like Jonathan, who go above and beyond to resolve guest issues. While some renovations have caused temporary disruption, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
I had an exceptional experience with Jonathan, the Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Boston. I originally booked a room through a third-party site for $1,800, only to later discover that the exact same room was listed for nearly $1,000 less directly on the Four Seasons website. When I tried to cancel the reservation through the third-party platform so I could rebook directly, my request was denied. When I called the Four Seasons, Jonathan stepped in and completely changed the situation. He personally took the initiative to contact the third-party company himself and worked to resolve the issue. His willingness to go above and beyond what most people would do made a huge impression on me. Because of Jonathan’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine commitment to helping guests, my stay in Boston turned into a truly positive experience. His level of service is exactly what you would hope for from a world-class hotel. I will absolutely continue staying with the Four Seasons whenever I’m in Boston, and that decision is largely because of Jonathan. He represents the very best of what hospitality should be. This was by far the best customer service I have ever received.
Great location & nice staff. However, we were not warned that the hotel renovations were ongoing throughout our stay & the drilling was terrible. Spa area was also closed so felt a bit ripped off.
Stay here with kids! They are so friendly to children including a secret surprise at check in and then a hotel-wide scavenger hunt. Pool is beautiful for all ages, as well. Rooms are comfortable. The morning complimentary coffee shop is also a great way to start the day and the staff in there are super friendly.
After many many times here at Boston, I find the Four Seasons the best option for this part of the city. The hotel is gorgeously decorated, the rooms are great, and the staff is super friendly and always looking forward to greeting you. If you like outdoors the two parks in front are so beautiful to visit, it makes it my favorite hotel. Also they offer good food and great breakfast options. We are also staying this time for a wedding and everything is amaaaaazing! I will keep coming and coming for sure ??
Exceeded expectations. 2 night stay as a couple, but would return with our children. The location was great! Staff were warm and friendly. The design is lovely. We enjoyed the gym, pool, bar and restaurant. They charged our EV overnight. Truly a gem in Boston.
There’s really no words to describe the perfection of this hotel. It’s possibly the most gorgeous hotel lobby I’ve ever been in. The rooms are wonderful as well but it’s the overall hotel vibe that makes it unbeatable. The service is phenomenal in the classic Four Seasons way, from the valet staff to the coffee shop baristas, everyone was helpful and genuinely friendly. The hotel decor is impeccable and so enjoyable to just sit and be in such a warm, inviting space. The location is incredible—just steps away from the Boston Public Gardens, which we enjoyed strolling through every day. Our son enjoyed a morning run around Boston with the chef (this is offered complimentary but check the schedule to see if it’s an option when you’re visiting based on the season). The complimentary morning beverages in the coffee shop were some of the best lattes I’ve ever had. The evening hot cider and sugar cookies in the lobby was a welcome treat after a cold evening of sightseeing in Boston. One note—We had a false emergency alarm go off on our last morning and I only mention this because it’s worth noting that their emergency system worked very well. The information was broadcast in the hallways, the elevators were automatically blocked off, and staff helped quickly direct us out of the hotel through the stairway. Having just been at another hotel elsewhere where we also had a false fire alarm go off (what are the chances twice in a row?!) and things did not work well, it was reassuring to see this hotel do a good job in an urgent situation.
Staying at the four seasons in Boston was wonderful. The staff were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY! And helpful. Shows a deep appreciation for the golden rule. Dinner was absolutely fantastic, we had the steak and the lobster pasta , we were in heaven. Our server Bryson gave an incredible service. Anticipatory always. For breakfast we ordered from in room dining and the woman who delivered was so so kind. I will always reccomend this property !
Husband and I took a short business trip. With the jet lag and chronic tired parent symptoms, we really needed this level of hospitality. The hotel is stunning. The staff treats guests like family. The location is perfect. If I was to describe the experience in a nutshell, it felt like the much needed hug that just makes everything feel alright. Thank you all so much for all your wonderful welcome! We cannot wait to come back with the little ones.
Such a lovely hotel. We had been on a very taxing road trip and this location turned it all around...so much so we added an extra night here. From the second we pulled in everything was impeccable and the staff so incredibly kind. The most efficient valet you'll ever encounter, friendliest check-in staff, and an amazing housekeeping staff. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the vaults on each floor such a fun concept, and the app makes it so easy to do anything from ordering room service to any housekeeping needs. Plus free, fancy coffee in the morning?! Unreal. The location cannot be beat as it's right across from the park and just close enough to wander in any direction without being in the thick of the noise. We will never stay anywhere else when in Boston and have even adjusted an upcoming fall trip to stay here instead of another city just so we can visit them again. If you can stay here, it's a must.
Great location, friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms! We were warmly greeted on arrival and received a room upgrade. Wish we had our kids with us, they have a thing called “The Vault” which is stocked with treats and compliments of the hotel on each floor. For my wife and I’s wedding anniversary they surprised us with chocolate dipped strawberries. Fresh roses in the room as well. Very quiet rooms and they were able to provide a fan for air movement and noise. They were also extremely accommodating of allergies during dinner and breakfast, which is a huge relief. Highly recommend and will stay again.
